"A great hotel with the usual aspect of the old theatre and cinema still there. The hotel is also perfectly positioned for strolls into the town and to the sea . Great views from the terrace. A good selection at breakfast"

"This hotel is well situated in Ortigia and is in a lovely old building. We enjoyed the staff, the bar and the breakfast. However we were misled by our room booking on Expedia. We expect d a room with a view of a mediterranean garden. We got a room facing an inner area- the light well - which afforded very little natural light in the room.band faced another bedroom’s window. The room was very small, with the shower in a closet area, and the toilet in a room on the other side of the bedroom. We asked to move but there was nothing available or offered for the two nights we stayed. All for $480/night. I expected more and would recommend that you book this hotel with caution if you value nice accommodation."

"I loved everything about this old convent converted to hotel : the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the view over the water was wow. It was clean, a short walk to the sites and the breakfast was good. The only thing was it felt remote at night when walking alone qith my 19 year old daughter but it's close to a police station so I felt better once I saw that! Definitely recommend. A little note, no elevator so pack light but staff helped us with bags."

"Fantastic boutique hotel, fabulous location with the kindest of staff. They could not have done more to be helpful and make us feel welcome. It’s an oasis of calm (and much needed drop in temperature!) the second you step inside the hotel doors, despite being in a very central location for restaurants, shops and bars. Highly recommend! Thank you for keeping breakfast aside for us after our long trip via Malta due to the closure of the airport!"

"We had a wonderful time staying here. The staff, especially Piero and Carmen were so accommodating. It was also nice having a kitchenette so we could cook or refrigerate food. The beds were comfortable, the space was cleaned and restocked daily. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Well located in the center of beautiful Ortigia. Close to everything (Ortigia is small). Room was clean, bed is soft and comfortable, room is clean. Breakfast is ok. Staff is very helpful and communicative. Air conditioning works well."
