“Elsa's is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to Prospect Harbor. It is a quaint building with beautiful rooms. But what made our stay spectacular was Gail. She is absolutely amazing. She gave us lots of great ideas about sites to see during our visit. She makes delicious breakfasts. And she's just so much fun to talk to. We wanted to bring her home with us! We will definitely come back for another stay as soon as possible.”

“Okay people are dramatic. It's not that bad. I booked this place last minute on the 4th of July for $120 after fees. I was reading reviews and you'd think this place would be a blood stained rat infested shole. Nope it was a basic motel with all you need. Yes the rooms are small, yes the shower is small. I'm 6 foot 2 175 pounds and fit just fine in the shower so unless you are a fat slob you will be okay. Cold AC, hotel shower, 200 channels, and an alright CLEAN bed. You people are so dramatic....

“Room was clean, fridge and microwave, bed comfortable, quiet motel- it’s set back from the road and sheltered by trees. Picnic tables and sitting areas scattered in the shade of the trees. The pool was lovely. Some of the areas around the motel could use a sprucing up, but for the price- we thought it was great.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!”

“Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart...

“The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”
