Everything as advertised. Had an immediate reply to check in early. Very accommodating. Probably, biggest negative would be no comfortable chair to relax in. There was metal small dining chair for the small dining table and a metal outdoor chair.

beautiful view of Mt Rainier from the balcony, easy walk to coffee, restaurants, brew pub, grocery store. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. only comment is in-room refrigerator was really noisy and didn't keep my beverages cold. (in hindsight, I should have unplugged it for better sleep.)

Staff at check in was very helpful and personable. Older property in mountains with wonderful view of My. Rainer. We also saw lots of elk at the back of the property.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The property is in need of some updating. For the most part was a clean room but it really needs a makeover. It could be a real gem given its location.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and just what we needed for a quick overnight stay before skiing at White Pass.

The staff was spectacular! This property is an older property, but nestled in an area that is breathtaking. They are kind and willing to help you with your needs. If you’re not looking for a Hilton, this place is for you certainly it is dated, but they do the best they can to keep it up, the bed in room nine was comfortable and the view was breathtaking.

I was reviews of this property before booking. Reviews seemed ok, I knew it would be outdated but that was fine. The good: Friendly staff Conveniently located to white pass The bad: Pool was NOT heated. We stayed during winter and after a day of snowboarding kiddos were looking forward to swimming. Pool was freezing cold, the front desk lady had to remove the cover when we checked in at 3:30pm. She didn’t mention anything to us about the pool not being warm. Not only was the pool freezing there were no lights in pool area. I went to ask the front desk lady about the temperature and the lights. Her response to the pool being cold was “it is heated” when she could tell I wasn’t buying that she then said “well we had to drain it and refill it and it’s cold outside” if the pool wasn’t warm enough to swim in that should have been mentioned when I told her we wanted to swim. I asked about the lights being off. She said they should be on. She did say she was going to call her boss. The pool room itself was in the 50s. I have a Photo of thermostat in the room. I was blow drying my hair at 10pm and our breaker flipped in our room. Had to call the front desk lady to come down, go into the room next to us, which thankfully was unoccupied and flip the breaker. Our room stayed hot all night, almost too hot even with the heater off. Our friends who were next door to us couldn’t sleep because their room was at least 90 degrees even with heat off and window open.

The property is very dark, they really need some security lights. Construction workers shouldn't be given rooms upstairs, sounded like a herd of elephants! The room was clean and what we expected for the price.

This place is rustic for sure. One of my main complaints is condiition of the electrical outlets - only two in the room were useable - only one lamp worked. Made me a little nervous for sure. The heating/cooling system needs major upgrades - glad we didn't need either. Window curtain was shabby. In general - very outdated and wouldn't stay here again.

We had a great stay! Our room was spacious and clean. It is definitely dated, but clean. The beds could be updated they were kinda creeky. We loved the staff, they were super nice!!! For the price and location it was definitely worth it!!! We will be back! The pizza place next door is great too!!!

The beds were good. It was clean, but spartan. It needs TLC. The bathroom floor was old linoleum and a 2 foot square section by the bathroom door was cut out and it exposed the plywood sub floor. I realize that this a tourist area so rates are high, but put some of the profits back into the room.

It was a decent place to stay with good beds and seemed to be cleaned well. It was outdated and a little worn down, but that's what the pictures showed and other places were very similar

Tout n’est pas parfait dans ce motel mais les personnes à la réception étaient sympathiques, lavuesur lemont Rainier très agréable, commerce accessible à pied et bon point de départ pour différentes randonnées (compter 45 minutes à 1h15 pour rejoindre les accès à Sunrise et Paradise sur des routes offrant un magnifique spectacle

The Packwood Inn is popular with people who like to hike in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The hotel has a popular restaurant on one side and a grocery store on the other. Mount Rainier and the Pacific Crest Trail is nearby.

The staff was kind and no problem with them. However, we were unfortunately next to a very loud room with at least three very drunk men who stayed up late in the area in front of our door and their's. The lock on our door did not feel secure and there was a couple times I could tell someone was leaning against our door as door would move with their weight even with the lock and deadbolt engaged. They were talking at high volume and over the course of almost 2 hours I could hear every lewd conversation they had (they were in town for work and they spent some time commenting on the woman they were working for and the "things" they'd like her to do to them). They were foul (language, the f-word was said more than just about any other word), swapped racist jokes (often involving the n word) and as I said, drunk and continued to drink the entire time. I was with my three adult daughters and we literally had a whispered conversation about what to do if the men tried to enter our room. I'm sorry this reflects poorly on the motel. Mostly it was fine and would have been fine had this not happened. As it was we were unable to even relax until around midnight when the men called it quits and even then, sleep was not restful and I was glad to leave in the morning.
