Food is fairly expensive compared to the local town a 10 minute walk. A variety of restaurants are available and multiple tourist shops. Parking is horrible, so use service from the airport and the hotel has rental cars if needed, also a Tuk Tuk that transports to Carvoeiro if choosing not to walk the 10 minutes. Great stay. "

"Beautiful hotel which is spotlessly clean and staffed by the most lovely people. My husband and I were discussing how lucky the hotel is to have such brilliant people. Everyone of them couldn’t do enough and it wasn’t “ forced” as they all were so naturally lovely. From the lovely lady who checked us in on arrival then the cleaners who were excellent. Then Ivanilda in the breakfast room who went out of her way to help us choose the beach / island we visited. Then she checked on us the next day to ask where we went and if we enjoyed it. The rooftop was lovely and the pool was freezing cold as expected for early season in May but was refreshing once in! The indoor spa area was really lovely too. Perfect hotel in a perfect location. Thank you!"
