"Front desk staff was very kind. They went out of their way to help us to feel comfortable. The room was small but very cozy and pretty with lots of plugs for all of our devices. And most importantly the AC worked really well during a heat wave!"

"Tranquille, sécuritaire, propre et bien situé. Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour. Seul le déjeuner que nous avons essayé lors de notre départ a été décevant. Aucun réchaud sous les plats donc on mange les œufs brouillés et autres aliments froids. Par contre, le café était bon et chaud et le personnel accueillant."

"Our stay in Paris was unfortunately very disappointing. The hotel should honestly be shut down temporarily for the amount and severity of construction happening throughout the property. The noise, dust, and overall disruption made it impossible to feel comfortable or relaxed. This was absolutely not the cozy Paris experience we were expecting, especially for the price we paid. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. It’s directly across the street from some of the best outdoor sit-down restaurants, which made exploring and dining very convenient. Most importantly, the staff was the saving grace of this experience — especially the Spanish-speaking staff member, I believe his name was Pedro. He was kind, welcoming, gave excellent recommendations, made us feel safe during our stay, and even bonded with us over Luis Miguel music. His professionalism and warmth were the highlight of an otherwise frustrating experience. If it weren’t for Pedro and the great location, this would have been a complete disaster."

"The only positive was that the desk agent helped us carry bags up 4 flights of stairs because there is no lift. The entire place was dirty, the shower in the room had someone else’s hair in it still Signs of bed bugs Shelf was hanging off the wall. There were syringes and medical waste on the window ledge outside the room. The shared toilet didn’t flush properly so it wasn’t clean. I’ve seen better conditions in documentaries about labour camps. This place should be avoided. We left and booked another hotel somewhere else and the hotel refused to refund. Their business model is very much based on leveraging non refundable rates. Book if you have a good credit card company that you can dispute the charge through. Travelocity support couldn’t help either. Lesson learned."

Novotel Paris Les Halles

"We spent 8 days in Paris and stayed at the Novotel Hotel which was under construction and had I known that I wouldn’t book there for sure . The hotel appeared older and the carpets in our room was well worn and appeared it needed a good cleaning or replacement. Poor water pressure in the shower and air conditioning unit poorly maintained and was not cooling the room properly. The outside weather was in the 34 c range every day of our last 4 days. The morning breakfast served was the most chaotic experience I ever had . The coffee machine not maintained consistently running out of coffee or getting jammed or no water. The staff was poorly trained to handle a large crowd."
