“The rooms were fine-we’d stay there again. The bathroom fan was running in the wrong direction-pulling air in.”

“Warm welcome and amazing, helpful staff team. Lovely clean rooms and great water pressure. Buffet style cooked breakfast was only thing that was not 100% ... one day it was all pretty dried under the lights, although the next stay it was much busier and breakfast was fresher as turnaround of stock was faster. “Close to the train station.”

“Room was spacious and modern, bathroom too.”

“Lovely Cottage in excellent location close to All amenities in the town centre Clean comfortable with everything you would require a real Home from Home wold not Hesitate in recommending this property”

“Great central location so easy to walk everywhere in Kendal - ideal for out party who could then nip to shops, out for meals etc. Lovely property top to bottom. And a nice welcome gift for us too. Thank you to the hosts.”

“There were an INSANE amount of communications, but they were unable to articulate exactly where this place was located, including not including the room number, which made it extremely difficult to find, and that there are an INSANE amount of steep stairs. Disappointing. Definitely not worth the money.”

“Was a fantastic stay with friendly staff who looked after us. Absolutely one of the best stays on an hotel. Food also was excellent. Both me and my wife would recommend the Gateway.”
