“Skønt sted! Vi fejrede nytår her og var her kun én nat. Men vi vil utrolig gerne besøge stedet igen og opleve det om sommeren. Stedet er som et slot dog med nye faciliteter som gør oplevelsen helt fantastisk! Der er ikke så mange værelser, så man følger sig taget godt imod af Ariana og de andre medarbejdere, som sørger for fin morgenmad og hvad man ellers kan ønske. Køleskab og dejligt badeværelse, og indretningen føles autentisk.”

“We can’t recommend more highly Case dei Baff!! A must stay! The grounds are stunning and serene. Corrado and his family were incredibly welcoming and lovely. The food at their restaurant, from the cheese to the wine to the meat, are all sourced from their farm and vineyard. Our meal there was spectacular and unforgettable! We were grateful to be able to take home some of their wine and cheese with us. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!”

“I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. Rita and the staff made sure all our needs were taken...

“A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. The omelette was delicious and made from organic eggs that have a story all to themselves. The team...
