Good value for a hotel at the airport.

This is a very comfortable, quiet hotel that is minutes away from the airport. We had just returned from Europe so the room seemed huge.

The staff went out of their way for me and my traveling schedule. The hotel was outdated and the rooms were tiny.

A bit pricey for what you get

$151 a night is expensive for a hotel of very average cleanliness and maintenance. Cab driver said it is being converted to a dormitory before the end of the year, so that might explain a few things. They also removed all Gideon's Bibles from the rooms. Hoping that is due to the changeover. Can't confirm, but maid said it was conforming to corporate policy. I need to check with HI on that one.

Free shuttle from the airport

Our family was meeting in Pittsburgh for a family weekend and this hotel had a free airport shuttle. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Sunday breakfast was very nice. Our kids liked the large pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to the airport.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past but chose a different hotel when I was in the area last month. I made a mistake in selecting the other hotel last month. The staff here is very friendly, food is great, and the kids loved the pool. The pool has been redone since out last visit and is great. I will always stay at this hotel from now on when in the area. The shuttle service to the airport is a plus.

The hotel is an older one, but the cleanliness and maintence level are fine. The staff is courteous and professional. One of the better breakfasts around.

Exceeded my expectations

I stay in a lot of hotels, and it's not very often that one really reaches out and grabs me, but this one did. From the genuinely friendly staff to the really great breakfast, everything sparkled in this Holiday Inn. had the ubiquitous non-functional mag-key issue, and not only did the front desk clerk jump to replace it, she called to make sure I got into the room. Even the custodian queried me to make sure everything was perfect. Bravo!

Room looked good, but didn't function as well.

The room had a large gap around the room heating / cooling unit on the floor. I had to place pillows from the bed around the heating / cooling unit to keep the warmth in the room, the outside temperatures was around freezing (Nov 14-16). I had also placed an order for breakfast. It was supposed to arrive at 8:00am, +/- 10 minutes. I had to call 2 times and find out about the delay. It arrived at 8:30am and almost made me late for an appointment with a customer.

Nice clean pool!

Had a wonderful stay with my kids. They only cared about the pool- which was clean and well-kept. One strange note, the first floor appeared to be college dorms?! Not an issue, just strange.

Livin' in sin at the Holiday Inn

Great value for the money. When we booked the hotel I wondered about the noise since the hotel seemed to be fairly close to the airport but the noise from the airport wasn't an issue at all.

NOT GOOD!!!

Construction in the room right next to mine. Hotel staff should really think about booking guests in a room with construction going on right next store, very load and could not get a deep sleep. Will deffinatly no recommend this hotel to friend

Great spot for my purposes

I stay at this particular Holiday Inn every summer while in Pittsburgh visiting friends who live in Moon/Coraopolis area. I was especially impressed this time with the young lady who checked me in; she had exceptional manners, was very warm and friendly. They checked me in nearly an hour ahead of schedule, so I could get on with my weekend. I always recommend this hotel to everyone I can who is heading to the Pittsburgh area. It's clean, well-run, close to a lot of restaurants and convenient to the airport.

LOVELY HOTEL FOR SOMEONE TRAVELING ALONE.

I GOT LOST TRYING TO FIND THE HOTEL, I CALLED AND THE PEOPLE ON THE COUNTER TALKED ME BACK TO THE HOTEL. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE COURTESY OF HELPING ME. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, MY ROOM WAS PLEASANT, THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMADATING. ALL IN ALL A GOOD STAY.

Our stay was fine except for one small thing. Room cleaning service was knocking on the door at 9:AM. - ouch! please stay away until 11:am which is check out.
