"The room appeared spacious at first, but upon lying down, my wife immediately developed hives and itching. We inspected the mattress and found it to be dirty, with hair and debris in the seams, and covered with a ripped plastic/fiber material. My wife is allergic to plastic, dust/carpeting, and had to take allergy medication for the remainder of our stay. We reported the issue immediately to the front desk (Michael and Inez), but the hotel was fully booked and we understood and agreed that we could not change rooms. At the same time, we were exhausted and hungry. Although we asked for the mattress to be cleaned and properly covered, the issue persisted. The carpets are old and the hotel is clearly in need of upgrades. Disappointingly, at my checkout the staff behavior at checkout felt dismissive and unprofessional. What was particularly troubling was overhearing, on the morning of checkout, what appeared to be a dismissive and inappropriate conversation between Michael and another staff member in the breakfast area regarding our complaint, accompanied by laughter. This behavior was unprofessional and added to our disappointment. Photos and proof of stay are available. This experience significantly impacted our comfort and health for our days at the holiday. "

"Room was hot on the first day of arrival. It was clean, room could be improved for comfort. Staff was very helpful and pleasant and breakfast was standard. "

"I stayed here briefly for two days, the rooms were clean. Very tiny I will say but good for what it’s worth. It’s just the walls are thin and you can hear them cleaning in the AM and banging staff. The staff were pleasant. The location was great. I prop would go back here, if I ever go back."

"This property checked all the boxes for a great stay! Elevator, nice size room and comfortable bed, quiet, nice updated bathroom with heated towel rack and walk-in shower. Lovely area of the city."

"The worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The shared bathrooms were filthy - insects and hair - and it is almost impossible to clean properly as the water is so tightly regulated that only continued button pressing during a shower will allow you to clean properly. One night I am pretty sure I saw someone sleeping in the common room. The rooms themselves are so poorly designed from an air circulation perspective that the windows have to be open all night. The cubbies in the rooms are too small for even the smallest of carry on bags. And one has to pay extra for everything, from secure storage before you check in to the locks used in the rooms to the sad towels. All told, a hostel doing the absolute minimum. Avoid unless you are one of the many nineteen year olds running around each floor living your dorm room dreams."
