J'ai passé un excellent séjour à l'aura studio, le studio est propre et fonctionnel, l'extérieur ( patio , rooftop avec piscine) est très agréable. L'hôtel est bien placé, à proximité des collectivos et du terminal ADO pour les bus. Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Aura Studios has everything I needed. It's close to restaurants, shops and supermarkets. I walked everywhere. It's not too loud on weekends, I was able to rest no problem. The staff and management are amazing and the cleanliness is A+

Very great value for the money. Small place perfect for solo traveler. I stayed for 1 week. There’s common areas and a private balcony. AC leaked at first but the problem was resolved immediately. Great communication, great management and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :).

Aura Studio is a good accommodation for the quality/price ratio, I stayed there for 2 weeks. The concierge and the manager are friendly and helpful. A big plus is the pool ! As for areas of improvement, the studios are minimalist, with minimal kitchen equipment (adding a cutting board would be practical). The cleaning, done once a week, could be more thorough (at my check-in, my microwave had moldy fries and there were spider webs) and could be done regularly in the rooms for at least trash collection.

Property was very clean. Check-in was bumpy, but I think Expedia provided incorrect contact info. Property managers werevery helpful. Señor B spoke limited English, but we got by using translation app. Appartment was sparse and minimalistic. Pool was nice and clean. Location of apartment was within walking distance of restaurants, laundry, pharmacy. Neighborhood was walkable and safe. Apartment was inside a locked gate. Our unit was secure and quiet for sleeping.Enjoyed our stay.

Great places, clean, cozy, friendly staff and just like been at home, walking distance to beach and 5 ave takes 10 mins, Super market 5 mins walk. Collectivo buses nearby.Main collectivo bus station 5 mins walk. There is a small swimming pool and pool chairs to lay down by pool, pool was cleaned everyday. Hammocks to lay down under shaded platform. There was no problem with management allowing us to stay passed our check out time, six and half hours, no additional cost. The Air conditioning was excellent kept the condo suite cool and nice. Our favorite restaurant EL Fogon was 10 mins walk. Fresh fruits and juice restaurant 2 mins walk. Lots of local food restaurants around and great food , great prices too all within 5 mins walk. Very convenient place to be. Highly recommend this place.

Overall a great apartment

The apartment is really spacious with a huge bed, fully equipped kitchen and even a little outdoor roof/terrace area which is great for watching the sunset. Interestingly it wasn’t the same apartment as the photos. But still nice. The only thing to let this place down was how loud it is at night. Every night we were woken by car and building alarms as well as constant dog barking. It’s definitely out of the tourist area, and in more of an authentic Mexican neighbourhood. But it is only a short walk to the main strip and beach. The hosts are generally attentive on WhatsApp, even coming quickly to fix a small ant problem we experienced in the apartment. Overall a good stay, (pool is nice too) just be aware of loud nights!

J'ai grandement apprécié mon séjour de 14 nuits au Aura Studio. Les lieux sont confortables sans être luxueux. Le rapport qualité-prix est, selon moi, excellent. La piscine est appréciable et les lieux extérieurs sont bien aménagés. Situé près de plusieurs commerces c'est pratique. Un peu loin de la plage mais la promenade est agréable car en prenant le boulevard JUAREZ, il y a des boutiques de toutes sortes tout au long du boulevard jusqu'à la plage. Le personnel y est très sympathique. Je recommande cet hôtel où je me suis sentie très bien. J'ai aimé y séjourner. Voyageant seule, je m'y suis sentie en sécurité. L'équipement de base de la cuisine aurait avantage à être amélioré mais lorsque j'ai demandé des choses manquantes, je les ai rapidement obtenues, ils sont venus me les donner (passoire, chaudron, il n'y avait pas d'ouvre bouteille). Parfois la chasse d'eau (en matinée) était moins efficace, le débit d'eau était moins fort. Mais en soirée cela n'arrivait pas. La déco pourrait être améliorée dans la cuisine particulièrement. Pas de cadre, rien qui égaye cet espace. Parcontre l'espace jardin y est vraiment très soigné et de très bon goût. Les hamacs, les chaises et toutes ces belles plantes créent un espace très agréable. Je recommande, je me suis sentie bien et j'ai aimé y séjourner. J'ai apprécié aussi les réponses positives chaque fois que j'ai fais une demande. Les lieux sont sécuritaires.

No hot water in single main floor room

Single ground floor room smelled like sewage on check in. Maintenance guy cleaned shower drain and opened window to get smell out second day after being asked, but I did not feel safe leaving main windows open while out and luggage in room or while sleeping on ground floor. It’s inside gated locked complex but quite a few rooms and people coming and going often through gates. Had to leave bathroom door always closed to keep the musty drain smell out of rest of room. Bathroom is so tiny to close the door you would have to step in to shower and turn around to close bathroom door then step out of shower to use toilet. No hot water during entire week there in shower. Some days it was warm-ish. Friends who stayed in a bigger room on second floor did have hot water so might be an issue just in the single main floor rooms. Plants around complex were beautiful. There was only 1 single small water bottle left in room at check in , no cooler or jug so had to walk to oxxo to buy big water jug for stay. Had stains on bed comforter. It was really inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Would definitely opt to get double room upstairs for small amount more. House across from complex has 3 dogs that stand on roof and bark quite early most mornings and seem to be a couple roosters very close by as well… they work as great alarm clocks for about 7 am.
Fairly clean at check in but had to buy own water. No hot water. Sometimes warm-ish water. Room stunk at check in. Didn’t use any appliances so don’t know if they worked. AC and TV worked. Ceiling fan noisy.
Free 7 AM adorable roof dogs alarm clock right across street from complex.

We stayed for a week in a 1 bedroom king room. The room was clean and the communication with staff was good through Whatsapp. The kitchen was minimally stocked, so we ate out most nights. There's a small beer fridge and that's all we needed, plus there was a dispenser for distilled water which was great. There's no hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner so I recommend bringing soap and your own amenities. Also very dim lighting if you want to do do your make up or shave. The shower was tricky to get hot water. We figured out that our hot and cold taps were reversed and the water temperature was inconsistent. We did have hot water but our friend on the main level didn't have hot water. Over all, this condo was safe and clean and good, but also know that you get what you paid for so don't have high expectations.

Beautiful Accommodation!

I have been to Playa del Carmen many times and this is by far the best accommodations I have ever had! The staff here are so lovely and kind - and patient - because I locked myself out twice now (oops). I think the property is better than the pictures. The pool - huge, and with the softest lounge chairs, so good I fell asleep in one. The rooms are REALLY clean. Not even one mosquito (my last place had cockroaches). The air con is fully functional and there is a ceiling fan. I have also never stayed anywhere with a functioning freezer or fridge that doesn't leak water everywhere. Both were functioning at full capacity. The property is walking distance to restaurants, bars, banks, grocery stores - but also a very quiet location. The security is solid and I never feel unsafe. The Wi-Fi works amazing! I was able to get work done and spend some time in the sun. It even works at the pool; I have stayed at expensive resorts and was unable to use Wi-Fi outside of my room. I HIGHLY recommend this accommodation and will definitely be back next trip. Diana, the owner is so incredibly accommodating. Salome is amazing and makes me laugh at least once a day. Do yourself a favor and come stay here - you won't regret it!!!!

es la primera ocasión que use estás instalaciones, todo excelente, ubicación, limpieza, atención en todo momento. Todos los servicios cercanos al inmueble y de fácil ubicación. 100% recomendable ,lo volvería a usar y una zona muy segura
