Beautifil Apartment on the Way of Saint Francis

The apartment had an interior decorator's touch, very beautiful and spacious. The owners lived above the apartment and were pleasant and easy to contact. We enjoyed our stay in Leonardo's Rooms.

Gute Unterkunft in Pontassieve

Angenehme Unterkunft im Zentrum von Pontassieve, sauber und ruhig. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsbalkon und die Möglichkeit sich Kaffee und Tee zuzubereiten. Restaurants und Bars ganz in der Nähe. Es gibt kein Frühstück.

Es una prioridad de fácil acceso para visitar Firenze pero como pueblo es bien aburrido, hay dos restaurant cercas pero caros y no muy buena la comida, mi criterio… Las personas de la propiedad son muy amables y gentiles…. Solo que pudieran ser un poquito más detallados con la limpieza… las sábanas y las toallas no tiene olor bueno… parece que se secan sin solo o sin secadora, porque tiene olor a humedad…les aconsejo usar una secadora y lavar con suavizante, para que no estén tan duras las toallas y con buen olor, al igual que pudieran cambiar el jabón de baño… tiene olor a jabón de lavar… no es agradabl… es mi criterio…. Gracias, son solo sugerencias constructivas !!!

Ottima posizione ma comfort migliorabile

Abbiamo prenotato un appartamento leonardo rooms ma ci è stato consegnato l'appartamento Casanova che avevamo scartato perché non aveva tutte le caratteristiche desiderate. Il divano letto destinato ai bambini è risultato scomodo così come il letto matrimoniale (due lettini singoli uniti). Inoltre la finestra della stanza con il divano letto non ha serrande e/o tende oscuranti, quindi i piccoli si sono ritrovati in piena luce già all'alba. Non dormono loro, non dormiamo neppure noi. Mancava il bagnoschiuma e lo shampoo. La porta esterna non si può chiudere a chiave dall'interno e trattandosi di un pianoterra direttamente in strada non ci è sembrato molto sicuro. La caldaia non si può regolare in autonomia (il controllo remoto è chiuso con lucchetto), abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni ma senza ottenere risposta. Insomma non abbiamo trovato corrispondenza tra i servizi descritti e pagati e quanto offerto realmente dalla struttura.

A great spot to recharge for a night.

Could not have been happier with the service at check-in (last minute booking and the owner was ready and greeted us with such friendliness!). Room was pretty cool, bathrooms were immaculately clean, and it was in a decent location for us to get what we needed.

This is more of a B&B, with the owner living on-site. Difficult to find and park, and some confusion with the very friendly and helpful owner as to breakfast (no room), but offered at 5 euro surcharge

Buono, ma ci sarebbe qualcosa da rivedere....

Accoglienza cortese, camera molto carina, ogni camera ha un tema diverso, idea carina. All'ingresso del palazzo si percepisce subito quell'odore di vecchio in quanto ci sono devi vecchi mobili è un vecchio pianoforte, agli appassionati di oggetti antichi può piacere. Si salgono due piani e a disposizione ti mettono un frigorifero con acqua ed un altro a pagamento con vari tipi di bevande, compresa macchinetta del caffè a cialde. Entrati in camera tutto ok, molto carina e ben curata nei dettagli e pulita, ma purtroppo quando abbiamo aperto il bagno, è uscita una forte puzza di urina e pure lasciando accesa la luce con la ventola ( bagno cieco ) dopo qualche ora, anche se un po' attenuata, era ancora presente e ci ha accompagnato per tutto il soggiorno. A parte questo e un povero cane che ululava svegliandomi presto la mattina, il letto molto comodo, tv piatta, un armadio per i vestiti e un tavolino, purtroppo per coloro che vorranno andarci in estate, la mancanza del condizionatore, o di un ventilatore è da mettere in conto. Per il prezzo pagato e considerato che non era Firenze, mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, in quanto a meno, sono stato in posti più attrezzati.

Cute Place

We stayed here after our day in Florence. It's a cute place not too far from Florence Town Center. Great that there was wifi & parking since we drove. The apt was clean, but I didn't like that the mop & bucket was stored in the bathroom. It felt dirty because of that although the bathroom was clean. The towels were kind of hard too. There was no air conditioning which was fine since the evening was nice & cool with the windows open. Bad thing about windows being open we're the mosquitoes as the windows did not have screens. Everyone in my family was bitten by the mosquitoes. My husband & I actually stayed up to kill the mosquitoes that had entered the apt then we closed the windows. All in all, a good place to spend the night but not to relax in as there is not much in the walking vicinity. There is a grocery store nearby. A couple pizzerias & restaurants. A plus for someone taking the train is that the train station is within minutes. The service was great. They were very cordial & answers all our questions. Brought us towels when we asked for them as well.

Bien situé mais accueil nul

Le seul point positif que nous retenons, c'est d'être à 100m de la gare pour ne pas avoir à prendre la voiture pour rejoindre le centre de Florence. Sinon, le simple fait que pendant plus d'un quart d'heure en attendant que je revienne du parking, Leonardo ne soit pas descendu aider ma compagne pour les bagages (2 étages...) en la regardant par la fenêtre... révèle un état d'esprit pour le moins douteux quant à ses qualités professionnelles.

Great For Florence

The owners were very sweet and non intrusive. Room was very nice and the little town is fairly charming....very close to the train station and the free parking at the station was also very close. The two night stay worked very well...nice restaurant across the street had good pizza and other food.

Close to Florence

Was happy here. Short ride to Florence and train station is less than a. 5 min walk. "Room" was actually an apartment and it was big! Had full kitchen nice size bathroom and bedrooms. Free wifi and owners were nice. Just make sure to rid the door bell hotel is located the first alley way right infront of the train station to you right.

Emplacement idéal

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé dans une rue très calme et non loin de la gare de Pontasieve qui est très bien déservie et vous conduit en 30 minutes, pour un prix modique, à la gare centrale de Florence..Les propriétaires de cet hôtel sont très sympathiques et attentifs à votre bien être. Cet hôtel est à recommander..

Fine as a base for day-tripping to Florence

The clue is in the name - its a room. No outside space or communal space so not really somewhere you'll choose to hang out in and we preferred to get breakfast out rather than eat in room. Free Wi-Fi is a plus. Owners helpful and friendly, definitely convenient for the train into Florence, and quite nice being outside the bustle of the town. Pontassieve is a quiet base and typical Italian town life nicely set on the Arno, with a few nice places to eat out there.
