Great spot to stay at. Gated with guards so felt really safe. Across the street are art vendors with some great art to purchase. Especially helps if you know pigin 😉 room was nice, good view, room service came to the door. Instant shuttle to the airport starting at 630am. Overall pretty happy

The staff were outstanding, very kind and welcoming. The hotel was large, comfortable, but the air con was too cold. I turned it off- but an hour later had to switch it back on. The food at the hotel next door, also a Holiday Inn, was a buffet for dinner. Normally I avoid those, but it looked great and it was! I had an early flight and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure I had a breakfast. Top notch.

Ila, the lady at the international airport terminal was awesome, even when she received an ear full from a guest who said he had been waiting 15 to 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive for pick-up which was not correct!! This guest and myself arrived on the same aircraft from Brisbane, entered and exited customs at the same time and when he decided to vent his frustration we had only be waiting all of 5 minutes. Ila certainly did not deserve what was said to her, but to her credit she remained composed and for front of staff, that isn't easy at the best of times when dealing with the public. Holiday Inn Express has always been a really good place to stay, so thank-you to all staff.

I liked that the hotel staff was friendly and made checking in and out very easy. The rooms were nice and clean and the hotel had a delivery service for food. I was able to pay either cash or card for all amenities - this was a plus as I was traveling internationally. The miss was laundry. Initial calls were to the reception desk about laundry and they were busy so my question wasn’t answered before they hung up on me. I brought my clothes downstairs to drop off after I received an answer for the item being laundered that was not on the form to complete and send off with my laundry. I stayed up most of the night and had to call twice before finally receiving my laundry at almost 2am after dropping off around 12p after I was assured at 7pm that my laundry was being finished. This was the only Miss, but overall experience was good. I will definitely be staying at this location again when I’m back in POM.

I often stay here when Im in port Moresby. Unlike its sister hotel Holiday Inn, this hotel is much more friendly. I got early check inn and had no problems getting breakfast which was an ordeal in other hotels in POM.
