Overnight stay

My husband & I stayed overnight here, described as 4 star, maybe other rooms are better, ours was OK, but tap in bathroom was very loose, beds very soft, but comfy enough. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Good hotel good food comfy beds

We were given a room in the new wing. It was v nicely decorated and furnished 2 queen beds, v comfortable. Air con good shower and tv free wi fi. Food was good on the bar and v nice breakfast. Staff v friendly. Only one downside when we were checking out we couldn’t find anyone. So had to leave a note and key card on reception, which was sad as we wanted to say how comfortable we were made.

Naff hall

Cleanliness was very poor down stairs sitting room very stained dirty carpet, on going up the stairs to our room carpet filthy as skirt-inboards, as through to room better room was at first ok , then dirty pillows no pillow protectors we had are drinks later in night in are room as downstairs dirty. Breakfast was cold poor quality , one poor young man running round on his own trying his best no milk waiting for hot water etc we ended up just eating one round toast

Excellent place to stay

Great hotel, location was a15 minute walk to town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and there was an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again. On top of all this the price for the room was great.

Nice stay

Very nice stay. Room was small but adequate. Beautiful modern and clean bathroom. Only thing to let it down was the lack of hanging space in the wardrobe. Only able to hang 1 full length item of clothing as wardrobe full of shelves. Evening meal was very nice although a shame it was served on cold plates. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. Good coffee. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. Good value for money.
