“Check in was great. The employee was friendly and we really liked her. The building was beautiful and clean. Our room was so very quiet and we could hear no outside noise. Two complaints- our top bed covering was badly stained. And the toilet lid in our room was disgustingly stained yellow from something. It was late when we checked in and we were tired from traveling so we just cleaned on our own best we could. All in all, the hotel was good. But cleanliness in the room not so much.”

“This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”

“This place was really lovely: I enjoyed the amenities, the clean room, and the breakfast, which had a delightful variety of options. The only thing I wish had been available was an ATM. When I asked the front desk about it, they kindly informed me that there isn't an ATM on the premises.”
