โDelivering my daughter to grad school we needed an extra special night at the last minute. I was lucky to find the Underwood Hale House had a private modernized apartment available close by solving many of our immediate issues: parking and both of us getting a good night's sleep!

โI love the property! The area wasn't great, but the inside was really unique and eclectic. The furnishings are simple. For a no-fuss stay, definitely come here. I felt very safe even though the area had graffiti. โ

Unfortunately, the problems didnโt end there. The new room had a clogged sink that wouldnโt drain at all. We called the front desk, and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up. The engineer then spent another 30 minutes tryingโand failingโto fix it. Thatโs a full hour of our travel time wasted because of the hotelโs lack of maintenance.
Despite all this, the front desk still didnโt offer a single word of apology. Instead, they claimed the new room was an โupgrade,โ even though it was on the second floor with a terrible view. Frankly, that felt like a weak excuse rather than any form of customer service.
This experience was unacceptable. I will absolutely not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability"
