Off season wonderful village

If you are looking for a stop between Rome and Naples, make it Gaeta, a city with a beautiful old town: crumbling old houses, narrow cobblestone streets and gorgeous views around every corner. #troveon

The view is amazing. A quick 3 mike hike to the top provides a breathtaking view of the Formia/Gaeta area.

Water so blue and so clear! The walk from Gaeta to old Gaeta provides views like this! Wonderfully delightful town.

Another view of the Ponza harbor, a small, charming, laid-back yet relatively unknown Italian island which is surprisingly accessible from Rome or Naples. This is also a great destination if you decide to rent a sailboat in Procida for a week long sailing adventure in the Mediterranean like I did.
