Absolutely love this resort we have stayed here eight times and it never disappoints.

Having visited Cancún numerous times over the years, we have watched GR Caribe Solaris steadily decline, particularly since 2020. The food has become bland, repetitive, and uninspired, with freshness seemingly an afterthought. If you're looking to lose weight while on vacation, this resort might actually be the perfect destination. The food alone should make sticking to a diet remarkably easy. The definition of all-inclusive has also become rather creative. Want a decent steak or room service? Prepare to pay extra. Specialty dining feels more like a restricted privilege, while guests are increasingly pushed toward the buffet. Apparently, all-inclusive now means all-inclusive until you want something worth including. You pay to get through the door, and then you're expected to keep your wallet open for an experience that should have been included in the first place. Service is equally inconsistent. While the front desk staff were welcoming and professional, our experience at Bogavante was particularly disappointing. One female employee was rude and dismissive, repeatedly delaying us and making us feel unwelcome. Hardly the hospitality one expects on vacation. GR Caribe Solaris has become all-inclusive in name and à la carte in spirit. After years of returning and witnessing its decline, we have finally reached our breaking point. We will never return. Cancún has far too many excellent resorts to justify spending another dollar here.
