"Spacious Room with a Nice Ocean View, but More Like an Airbnb Experience
We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was very spacious and had a partial view of the ocean, which was a nice bonus. I also really appreciated the water filter and the very large fridge, which made the room especially convenient for a longer stay.
Check-in was smooth, but there are a few things to be aware of. The front desk is not open past 10 PM, so if you’re arriving later, you need to reach out to the hotel in advance. They provided us with a code for a self check-in, which worked well. Check-out is also done on your own.
The hotel operates more like an Airbnb in some ways, including having rules about separating your trash before leaving. Cleaning is not provided daily but they do leave fresh towels hung on your door daily.
One thing I would definitely recommend planning for: there is no iron or ironing board in the room or provided. If you’re staying here, bring clothes that don’t need ironing—or be prepared to get creative!
Overall, the spacious room, partial ocean view, water filter, and huge fridge were great features. Just be aware that the experience is more self-service and Airbnb-like than a traditional full-service hotel."
