Quando chegamos, parecia fácil caminhar até o centro da cidade; que é relativamente longe para ir e voltar mais de uma vez por dia. No entanto, à noite, quando tentávamos voltar para o local, havia um "rio" passando pelo caminho, que não estava lá mais cedo, quando fomos. Era impossível passar. Ligamos para o dono do hotel e ele nos disse pra atravessar o rio andando com nossos sapatos. Não moveu um dedo...
"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hostal, chambre propre, literie très confortable!
L’équipe est très disponible et profondément gentille. La cuisine est flambant neuve, donc agréable à utiliser. Le centre ville n’est qu’à 15 minutes à pied. Environ très calme la nuit, on dort donc paisiblement 😌
Le petit déjeuner est à la hauteur. Le rapport qualité prix pour San Pedro est parfait.

"Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "

"Property was really good and the host was really friendly and accomodating even though we don't speak the language. They prepared breakfast for us every morning and cleaned the rooms every day too. Small property so you can talk to other guests as well. Waking up and eating breakfast with the view of desert and mountains in the backdrop was really special too.
The place is 5 mins walk from main market street so you are perfectly tucked away from peak tourist traffic and still close enough to get out and do your stuff. The airport transfer services come up to the hostel and most of the tours can pick you up from this location. Ones which cannot will generally pick up from a location which can not be more than 10 moinutes walk.
We visited in winter and from our experience, two things that I want to highlight. 1. you are very close to the driest place on the earth so pack lotion and 2 because you are in the middle of a desert and temperatures drop significantly at night its better to pack warm clothes to sleep in. Room was colder than a usual hotel room."
"This hotel is a beautiful property located in an amazing town. The property is immaculate, well maintained and very comfortable. We love the minimalist aspect of the room including the pleasing absence of a television. The staff is very professional and very helpful. Each days activities required a box lunch and each day this was ready for us before we left no matter how early.
