"The location of this hotel is excellent. The bar area is nice and they have music almost every night. Rooms offer a hot pot to make tea or coffee. You can go to the cafe to get milk for your coffee. There is no bottle water left in the room which most hotels have. "

"First the positive: the hotel is next door to my favorite pub in Belfast the Kelly Cellars (estb 1720); great location. The Bad: my AC didn’t work for the first two days and it was 84f in my room before they could figure it out. Then my door wouldn’t unlock for 2 days. No one could figure out why. I would come home multiple times after a night out and sit and wait 20+ mins to into my room. Staff was just like oh well. Not a pleasant stay by any measure. I won’t go back."

"Hotel is in a great location, breakfast was good although it gets busy, reception staff on check in was fantastic. Downside, no wine selection in bar, they had run out. Some room maintenance is needed. Noisy rooms from traffic so you couldn’t have windows open. Heating is centrally controlled giving no ability to switch on in evening. Overall, not as good as I expected."

"Check in was smooth and quick and it was nice to be able to check in early because our room was available. Staff very polite friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, plenty of storage, clean and I liked the Jo Loves products. Turn down service was lovely. It was quite noisy from the road outside though which was not good. Windows should be better. Dinner and drinks at the hotel were great couldn’t recommend them enough. Our dinner was delicious. Well cooked, fresh and full of good flavour. I had pork chop with black pudding crochets my husband had the lamb with champ. Breakfast was disappointing. Ordered food was slow and not as good as other hotels I’ve been to where I haven’t paid as much! The whole breakfast should be as a buffet style as this is what we prefer. I stayed at the Grand Central Hotel previously and they did an excellent breakfast with a quieter room. Would recommend that hotel more, if available, than the Fitzwilliam."

"Breakfast was great. Room was immaculate and staff was fantastic. Sara at the reception desk remembered us by name from our last stay a year ago! All food was great too, not just breakfast. We will always stay at the IBIS City Center location when in Belfast."
