“This place was so clean, it looked brand new, amazing. The room was large the beds were great, the bathroom was more than you could ask for and the towels were big and fluffy. Thought was only a continental breakfast, but you could order anything. Self parkng was a plus.”

“This was a clean, lovely stay with friendly hosts and beautiful views from the property. We really appreciated the effort and attentiveness from Olive, our hostess. I do think the breakfast could be improved, as the Irish breakfast was a bit disappointing without beans or puddings and the pastries were quite dry, and the bedding was too warm for the season and there were no alternative blankets in the room. “Interesting place to stay. Front desk was helpful. Was looking forward to dinner but was disappointed. Drinks took over 1/2 hour to receive and were never once asked again if we wanted any more drinks. An hour and a half before we received our food. After finishing food we were left waiting half an hour. Would have ordered dessert and more drinks if offered the chance. 2 hour ordeal after a long travel day was very frustrating. Their loss as we opted to eat elsewhere the rest of our stay.”

These rooms were clean and smartly decorated. Though the B&B is not in the middle of a town it gives you a true Irish experience. Sheep everywhere and Jerad still does the daily animal chores :) this also was our 2nd stay and looking forward To our 3rs ”

“The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.”
