I had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Sunna. It was cozy during the blustery windy days, & easy to go grab a bite & then come back and cozy in. It was also a great location for my early morning shuttle pick up @bus stop #8 to the airport. It was great to have a kitchen to use & the staff was also very responsive with any inquiries I had prior to staying. I’ll definitely stay when I visit Iceland again!

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff were kind, calm, and helpful, especially with coordinating the Flybus timings and explaining the luggage storage arrangements after checkout. They also kindly allowed me to use the breakfast room, which I really appreciated. The room was neat and clean. Overall, a comfortable stay with thoughtful service and good hospitality. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

I have stayed at guesthouse Sunna about 10 times. The staff are wonderful! They are helpful in the hotel and knowledgeable about the city. Breakfast is good and in a comfort room. I’ve grown to know the hotel well enough to request specific rooms, and many of them have a wonderful view of the big church and the sculpture garden across the road. It is so wonderful to wake up to having Hallgrimskirkja as the view! For doing things in central Reykjavík, this location can’t be beat. I never rent a car, but there is free parking, which is very rare in central Reykjavík. I already have my next trip planned in January, and I’ll be staying in the same room with the wonderful view!

This was the best place we stayed during our trip. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. It was an impeccable location close to everything. The shower had a glass door and curtain. There were windows for temperature control. And parking was included! Finally, there were signs everywhere to explain how to do everything. Very user friendly hotel. We did not use any amenities. There was a kitchen available to guests and breakfast that was a reasonably price which we did not try due to being in the heart of the city.

This was our first time in Iceland and I had never stayed in places other then Hotels. I was taken of by shared bathrooms and kitchens But to my surprise I loved it . Icelands food prices are very expensive so to be able to walk to grocery store and purchase items was a plus we stored in our fridge and used microwave . The front desk especially Monica was very helpful . Location wise having the church across the street as a center point was amazing It kept us from getting lost.

I just stayed one night in a single room. It was a wonderful experience with a great view and delicious breakfast. The shared bathroom was conveniently located. Bus stop 8 is just a few steps away. The checkout time of 11:30 was very generous. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
