Honestly? I shouldn’t even be writing this review because we found out they are closing in 3 weeks. Just wanted to say, we had the best time ever. It was a ghost town and it was basically our own playground. We had so much fun, we were like kids in a candy store. There were maaaaaaaybe 4 staff members that we saw the whole time. Our room was very comfy and clean. If you want a cheap quick getaway, before they close, where you can frolic free in an empty casino that reminds you of The Shining, this is the place for you!!!! Note: we did not meet any table dealers so I don’t think they have that and I’m pretty sure we saw a ghost at the bar.

Hotel closing in November

This casino/hotel is closing in November. The employees learned of the closing the day of our arrival. To their credit, the staff treated us well and were quite nice. There were only about 10 rooms rented at most for the night. Apparently the casino/hotel has seen better days. Hopefully a new owner will emerge. Sam's Town was one of the original casinos. Too bad.
