Das Personal war super lieb und hat sich sehr bemüht, dass es allen Gästen gut geht und recht ist. Die Zimmer verfügen über Klimaanlagen und die Unterkunft ist Zentrumsnah gelegen - wir haben nicht einmal 10 Minuten zum Kolosseum und genauso viel Zeit zur Einkaufspassage gebraucht. Von der Dachterrasse aus kann man sogar das Kolosseum sehen. Einziges Manko war das zweite Bett, welches sehr unbequem war.

Bon Hôtel
Hôtel bien situé pour découvrir Rome à pied, à 10 minutes du Colisée . Bon accueil, le personnel fait l effort de parler français et donne de bons conseils. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, quelques peintures à refaire. Seul bémol pour le petit déjeuner, qui reste correct mais pas très varié, un plateau avec quelques tranches de pain de mie, jambon et fromage.

- The internet doesn't work properly. - Low quality breakfast. The terrace is amazing! You can bring food and drinks and sit there whole night. Location is very good. Good restaurants around like Pastachef (take food there and go to the terrace).

Do your self a favor and don't stay in this hotel. The room are super hot the AC doesn't work the hotel is beyond dated and when I mentioned the room condition to the front desk the attendant did not care of my concerns. The breakfast is some a joke.

Very old an in need of an update. The cooling system was not helpful for the Roman heat. The proximity to the colosseum was good and a very good pizza place done the street were the only good qualities about this hotel.

Our rooms were lovely and very clean. The hotel was in a fabulous location. BUT the breakfast was very basic.

Nice place, great location, one annoyance.
My family and I stayed in an apartment two doors down from the main building. It was nice, and very convenient to the Coliseum and to the gelato place across the street. A great place overall, but I had a bad experience at checkout: The front desk staff were very friendly, but nobody mentioned the occupancy tax collected at checkout. There was a sign, so it wasn't a complete surprise, but the sign didn't mention that it had to be paid in cash. Scrambling for an ATM at three in the morning while a cab [that a reception person had set up] was waiting on me was not how I wanted to end my stay in the city.

The best part about this hotel is the roof terrace overlooking the colosseum. We spent more time here than in our rooms. My room was in the annexe which is opposite the hotel. We also went with my sister and her husband. The two rooms were very very different although completely the same price. We stayed in Vespasiano and it was tiny compared to the other room (think it was called poppier or something like that) Our room was very basic, the bed was solid, there was a kettle and cups but no tea and coffee and the bathroom was old and needed renewing in my opinion. The other room had more modern facilities and was a lot bigger in space (room and bathroom). Price needs to be altered for the different rooms as they don’t really compare. However the roof top and location of this hotel were spot on.

Prenotato dal sottoscritto ma usufruito dalla moglie e da una sua amica. Questo soggiorno è stato veramente sacrificato a causa di una camera piccolissima che conteneva a stento i due letti singoli, nonostante sulla prenotazione fosse specificata la dimensione di almeno 15 mq. Si sono trattenuti dalla carta (i cui estremi sono stati lasciati a garanzia della prenotazione) il costo relativo ad una notte prima del nostro arrivo, contrariamente a quanto previsto dalla prenotazione che raccomandava di pagare l'intera quota del soggiorno in hotel. L'approssimazione, la superficialità e l'incompetenza dimostrate unita all'arroganza del personale, mi inducono a catalogare questa struttura come "non gradevole" e quindi assolutamente da evitare nei miei futuri soggiorni a Roma. Spero solo che Hotel. com prenda atto che non fa una bella figura proponendo simili strutture ai propri clienti.

This hotel was right down the street to the colosseum. It was in a great spot, if you don’t mind walking to some of the main sights. Walking distance to some good eats and bars. Our stay was actually not where the hotel is but across the street, which we really didn’t mind but if you prefer to actually stay where the hotel sign is, and in the comfort of the hotel feel, it’s understandable. The staff was incredibly friendly when we got there however we arrived a little earlier than what “check in” time was and our room wasn’t ready so we had to walk around for two hours before we were actually able to get to our room. The room was big, bathroom was great and everything was clean! The only down side was that the fridge wasn’t cold- so we couldn’t keep our water and snacks refrigerated, even though it was plugged in and the light was working. Also, the gelato store next door was delicious!

Abbiamo soggiornato in dependance: ultimo piano, nessun ascensore, scale ripide e aperte (con la pioggia a vento ci siamo bagnate) e difficoltà nel trasportare le valigie. Hall elegante ma... Struttura estremamente sporca. In doccia è presente un focolaio di muffa nell'angolo, pertanto non ho potuto fare doccia totale in quanto esposta a rischio di malattie. Bagno piccolo. Confermo il cattivo odore di uovo marcio che proviene dalle tubature del bagno e del lavandino della cucina. Nelle mura non è stata aggiunta fibra di vetro o alcuna altra soluzione per rendere silenziosa la camera: il risultato è che la notte si sente tutto quello che avviene in quella rumorosa strada piena di movida, rendendo il sonno non confortevole. Assenza di asciugamani da bidet, nonostante le richieste. Ci hanno dato comuni asciugamani da viso. Nella stanza a destra, presenza di presa non funzionante. Luce della cucina fioca e clima abbastanza triste e decadente. Il roof garden con la vista sul Colosseo è un terrazzino in cui se sei fortunato e non c'è nebbia, tra un palazzo e l'altro riesci a vedere qualche mattone del Colosseo. Da ridimensionare le aspettative. Non ci tornerò mai più nè consiglierò questa struttura. Buona la posizione, nient'altro.

We were not in the main building but the annex just across the street. The room was in good condition. We missed having a table/desk but other than that it was the right size. The shower's pressure was a bit too high and it got cold from time to time. Breakfast was good, not buffet but instead they bring you a tray with toasts, croissants and meats, which worked for us but could not eat it all so felt like some of it was wasted; also the breakfast staff was not as friendly as the reception staff when we were there. WiFi worked alright. Location was excellent, only a few minutes away from the coliseum. Maybe not to the standards of a 3 stars hotel but overall it was a pleasant stay.
