We were a bit concerned with the negative reviews before we went. The rooms are basic but clean and cleaned every day. Breakfast is what you would expect in any hotel in Italy. The staff were helpful and accommodating to requests for additional tea and coffee in the garden area. There is graffiti on the walls in the street but you see that all over Rome. The hotel was close to a supermarket and dining options and a couple of blocks from the metro.

Old hotel
Hotel Best is on an extremely busy and noisy street. It is old, dark and uncomfortable. The only plus is the pretty patio near the breakfast area. Breakfast is not particularly good or pleasant. Don’t go there.

Great rooms and outside area for breakfast. A little far from the city center, maybe 20 min walk to the Colosseum. The service was also great, but a tad confusing. One man claimed the hotel didn’t offer transportation to/ from the airport and hotel, but another man was able to book my party a shuttle from the hotel to the airport for only €15 per person. Nonetheless, they do accommodate, the employees just need to communicate a bit more

Hôtel décevant en équipements et services
Personnel agréable et très accueillant mais services et équipements moyens. Cet hôtel n'est pas digne d'un 4*. Pas de vrai salon dans l'hôtel (juste un petit endroit au dessus de l'accueil sans télé). La télévision de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas bien, la chambre était petite pour 3 et la salle de bain était dans un état plus que moyen (bois en très mauvais état autour de l'évier, un des 2 boutons de la chasse d'eau était hors service, tartre autour de la douche...). De plus, il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et impossible de régler la clim! Bref, décevant. Avantage : proche de la gare de Termini et du métro Manzoni, ce qui permet de visiter facilement!

ADEQUATE FOR SHORT STAY
Nice hotel The room was okay for a short stay due to its smallness. The breakfast was again okay though again the room was small but it was never overcrowded. We were able to get hot drinks up until 2000 hrs. from a machine in the breakfast room. The travel was by Tram 5 or 14 from The Rome Termini takes only 4 minutes. The connection for travel around Rome was a 5 minutes walk to the Metro at Manzoni. The Metro gets very crowded .

Highly recommended!!
The hotel is VERY CLEAN, close to metro station and tourist attractions. Excellent service. Staff are very helpful, especially ARUSH. Free breakfast and strong WiFi connection.

Esta lejos de todo realmente una decepcion no esta a 3 calles de termini y la zona horrible por donde hay que andar con el equipaje, no tienen cafeteras en las habitaciones nunca hay agua caliente por las Mañana en casi ninguna habitacion rentamos 2 y fue un caos , el personal de lo mas nerd deberas si no hubiese sido por la mucama italiana y un varon italiano fuese caotico

Good location, and very friendly staff. But rooms were small, breakfast had very limited choices and was very cramped, often area was too small for the number of guests, the deco was dated, there was no glassware when we asked for glasses in the evening was given plastic cups. Every morning we found the showers didn't provide enough hot water, it was bearable but water would get cool during shower, so wasn't enjoyable. Most definitely NOT a 4* hotel!! I would rate it 2-3*. I would only recommend if getting a very cheap deal or price is comparable to other 2-3* accommodation.

Comfortable hotel and very good location
This is a great little hotel just outside the main historic centre but within easy walking distance of all. The Coliseum is the closest and takes about 20 minutes to get there, 10 minutes to the nearest Metro station (very easy to navigate) and several nice local restaurants with good food. The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, good shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast is good, all buffet self service but did lack fresh fruit. Other than that all good and would highly recommend.

Small hotel but good for the price
Nice staff. Nice outside area and small roof terrace. Not much to do immediately outside but more restaurants are a walk away Only complaint would be that the bath didn't drain well at all when having a shower - mentioned to them a few times and they stated it was ok.( which it wasn't) 1.9 miles to Colluseum. Easy stroll on a nice day Staff helpful in ordering taxis. Overall good for those on a budget

Für ein 3 Sterne-Hotel wäre das Best Roma ok, wofür es einen vierten Stern verdient hat, verstehen wir nicht. Im Badezimmer gab es kaum Haken, die nicht wackeln. Die Dusche hat einen Spalt, sodass nach dem Duschen der Boden triefend nass ist. Schade, dass das Umfeld des Hotels mehr und mehr verkommt und vermüllt.

Hotel situé dans un quartier plutôt populaire mais tranquille. Bon accueil, chambre sympa, pas très grande mais salle de bain plutôt petite, pas de quoi poser des affaires. Propre. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux mais pas de grande qualité gustative! Terrasse en cour intérieur de l'hotel agréable et terrasse aussi sur le toit.Tramway juste en bas de l'hotel, métro pas loin et bus.

A Fair Hotel - you get what you paid for
Room: I stayed in two different rooms in the hotel: - do NOT let them put you in a room on the bottom floor facing the street. This is the room I INITIALLY got. The air conditioning wasn't working properly and the Tram is very loud. Couldn't get any sleep at all. It was like sleeping next to a runway. - The shower has a very unusual set up... instead of a shower curtain, they have a glass barrier/door that only extends HALF the length of the tub. You have to be very careful in order for water not to get all over the floor. - the mini safe they provided was also labelled as "out of order".... After complaining about these things, the concierge allowed me to switch to a room on the third floor, facing AWAY from the street. - air conditioning was awesome, shower was cramped but adequate. No real complaints. Common areas: - the hotel is very small. The breakfast is very minimal ( cereal, bread, deli meats, juice, coffee). The dining room is very cramped. - nice dining area in back. Location: Pros: - less than 10 min walk from the closest metro station. Less than 5 min walk to a convenient tram stop. - you can get pretty much anywhere you want to visit in Rome in less than 30 minutes from here. - a couple of restaurants, a super market, a gelato place and plenty of convenience stores within 10 minute walk west. Cons: - hotel is located facing a busy road with a tram line on it (VERY LOUD if your room faces the street). - the area just north of the hotel is pretty sketchy

La estadia estuvo muy mal, el servicio pesimo, no sabian nada de lugares a donde ir a comprar, el elevador no funciona apropiadamente y truena a cada rato, no se puede comer en las areas comunes porque lo prohiben y el desayuno ni mencionarlo, los huevos no son frescos y son duros para que se puedan consumir en los dias siguientes, el pan durisimo y las bebidas no son frescas las camas no son comodas. en general creo que la gente ha sobrevalorado este hotel porque esta como de 1 estrella.

少し駅から離れた場所にあるが、ホテルの内装自体は綺麗でした。スタッフの方も丁寧で観光スポットの行き方なども詳しくお教え頂き、良かったと思います。朝食ビュッフェはもう少しバリエーションがあると嬉しかった。

Nicest Staff Ever!
The staff at this hotel was EXCELLENT! Very kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond the first night we were there in helping us with my mom in her confused state. Gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant that was close to the hotel. The breakfast provided was great too! Plenty of fresh meats and cheeses and bread!

Near enough to facilities

Zimmeraufteilung war unpassend. Tram ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Nur 3 Stationen bis zum Termini. Das Personal und die Sauberkeit waren völlig in Ordnung. Bezüglich der Lage des Hotels habe ich mich abends/nachts etwas unwohl gefühlt. Ansonsten kann man das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

N'ayant pas pris beaucoup de temps pour choisir un hôtel j'ai choisi celui-ci. L'hôtel est beau, chic, marbre, miroirs, chambres propres mais il reste les finitions : cache trou porte paume de douche, calcaire sur la porte de douche, litrie fatigué / qui s'avachie. La chambre est un peu petite. Pas une chaîne de télévision en français donc équipément inutile. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Bref ça passe pour le prix.

El hotel esta cerca de Termini y el coliseo pero las habitaciones son muy pequeñas,la ducha no te puedes ni mover de lo pequela que es,la cama....horrible despues estar todo el dia caminando y que no puedas ni descansar.hay mucho ruido por un tranvia que pasa justo delante y empieza a las 4 de la mañana.el desayuno es bueno y el personal es muy atento y agradable.creo que deben reformarlo mucho para poder llegar a un 4 estrelkas

Short cheap break we needed!
We arrived to a warm welcome! Had a room 401 which was nice! But no hot water for most of the day! As all I wanted was a warm shower before I set off to see beautiful Rome! But had to have when we got back in the evening! Breakfast is continental love the rolls! But gets a bit boring after 4 mornings of exactly the same! I will say it's quite far out! On the first night of coming home I felt unnerved walking back to the hotel! But then got to know area was ok & felt safe! Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Eine Woche Zeit, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Dies ist uns dank der Lage des Hotels (Großbereich des Hauptbahnhofs Termini und Nähe zum Kolosseums) oftmals fußläufig oder die halbe Strecke per Bus vom Bahnhof optimal gelungen. Auch hat das dafür bestens geeignete trockene und sonnige Wetter beigetragen.

Nice hotel
Lovely hotel. Great staff. Very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Little bit noisy with the trams outside as it was a room at the front of the building, but was fine. Close to metro and within walking distance of main attractions of Rome. Would definitely recommend to a friend or stay here again.

Great hotel for the price
Rooms were very clean and cleaned every day, staff were helpful and location is good - 5 minute walk to the tube which is only a few stops from all the main sites
