This hotel is not what it used to be. I had stayed in here, and I remember friendly staff. Now you have no contact with them unless you go to a different property/hotel. There is no one at the front desk. You have to go to a different hotel to check in or any other issue you may have. I would never come back to this hotel again.

I booked a room at Hotel la Fenice in Metropolitan Rome, through Expedia. The pictures online were nothing like the hotel or room that is advertised on line. There is no front desk service at all-EVER(so, no security), despite the pictures on line that show a beautiful reception area and a person behind the desk. The tiny room was musty, moldy, and very, very basic. The outside of the building was dirty and disgusting. Don't trust the pictures for Hotel la Fenice 'basic room'. I expected more going through Expedia. Very disappointed.

If you like service men walking into your room without notice, moldy food at the breakfast buffet and - to top it off- bed bugs, then this is the hotel for you! We really wanted to like this hotel after it was recommended to us. The location is excellent and the staff are so kind. That is the only positive thing I can say about our stay. The first hiccup was when three maintenance guys tried to come into our room without notice. We had gone back to our room to freshen up and because house cleaning had already come by, I didn't think to put the "Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. My bad because we got a shock when three guys opened our door and were about to come it to check out our air conditioner. Not really a big deal but it was weird. The biggest complaint is the bed bugs. Enough said. We're working with the hotel on a partial refund but this experience was just the worst. We met another family in the lobby who also had bed bugs in their room. The people who referred this hotel to us visited years ago and they had a really charming stay. When we're looking for places to stay, the location and cleanliness are our main concerns - we don't need anything posh or fancy - just a safe and clean place to sleep. I really hope this hotel can get the bed bug situation taken care of because it is really cute and, again, the staff were excellent.

Hotel was very conveniently located for sightseeing and for the price was fairly good value. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The property seemed fairly clean until we were biten by bedbugs during the night, which means we wouldn't stay there again unfortunately.

Great little place.
It should have been clear that we needed to check in at another hotel down the street. They forgot our third bed, but promptly brought it. The room was immaculate. They allowed us to store our luggage and it was in our room when we checked in. The young man at the front desk was wonderful. All the employees we encountered were nice. The rooftop breakfast buffet was great as were the girls that served it. Location was great. Overall a good experience and I would recommend it.

Fin betjening. Vi blev ved en fejl oplyst at vi havde morgenmad med i vires ophold og på 2. Dagen fortalte tjeneren ved morgenmaden at vi ikke havde morgenmad. Vi henvendte os i receptionen og fik de 2 gange morgenmad gratis som kompensation. Meget fin service Hotellet ligger super centralt og var perfekt til vores behov

Cet hôtel est très bien situé. Il est proche de nombreux lieux et/ou monuments à visiter sans avoir besoin de prendre les transports en commun. Il est situé dans un quartier très animés avec toutes les commodités (restaurants, magasins...). Le personnel est très disponible et accueillant avec un petit déjeuner varié qui répond à tous les goûts (sucrés, salés, fruits et yaourts).

first day in hotel could not get wifi. Found front desk lady rude. Bed is not comfortable and room is small. Street entrance is rough. On plus side, relatively well located for access to places to see. The breakfast was decent and fellow looking after it was great.

Små ofräscha rum.
Det minsta rum jag sett. Hade vi haft två vanliga resväskor hade vi inte fått plats. Dålig lukt i rummet. Allmänt ofräscht rum. Inget vardagsrum vårt bagage , två cabinväskor , fick stå öppet i receptionen hela dagen. Skulle inte bo där igen. Läget är trots allt toppen.

The property was quaint and space limited but comfortably and unique. Old world charm and the space was efficient and warm.

We stayed one night coming in to Rome. Room was in a good location with lots of options for food and shopping. Bed comfortable and decent space in the room.

Hotellet ligger dejligt centralt og vi gik rundt til alle seværdigheder. Vi var fire par som havde stor glæde af at kunne mødes på tagterrassen om aftenen inden vi skulle ud at spise. Hotellet havde hver aften stillet vin og vand samt snacks frem uden beregning. Værelserne er ikke prangende men har det der skal være og var pænt rene. Alle var enige om at det er et godt hotel til prisen.

The hotel is perfectly located close enough to the most popular touristic attractions. The staff is very helpfull and treats the guests in the best way. The only inconvenience is chick-in/-out in the other property located about 200m away but this is not crucial. Highly recommend this hotel for everyone who cares about value for money.

The hotel is perfectly located so you can walk to the most popular tourist attractions. The staff is very helpfull and treats the guests in the best way. Surprisly VERY good. AMAZING location
Location super amazing. Device was great. Walked in just one wall had lots of shoes marks on the wall looked dirty and upseting at first. But honestly everything was clean. Shower super clean and comfortable. Room little small but that’s the price for great price and amazing location. Breakfast was super romantic everything was just great definitely coming back. And my brother already booked it for two months from now because our recommendation:)))

Mycket bra hotell som ligger ca 3minuter promenad till spanska trappan och Fontana di Trevi, alla i personalen talar engelska och var väldigt hjälpsamma. Rummet är fint och elegant men aningen för litet i ytan. Vill du bo i ett hotell som ligger i centrum och har nära till tunnelbana & taxistation är detta ett perfekt hotell för dig. Mvh, Sanna

Tive problemas com a limpeza do quarto em que fui originalmente acomodada. Após uma reclamação com fotos nos mudaram para um quarto melhor e mais ventilado. A localização do hotel é excelente!
