Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us a choice between Hotel Montreal, and the Hotel D'Este next door. They own both properties. We chose Hotel D'Este, and they upgraded us to a balcony room, so we had a great view of St, Maria Maggiore from the balcony. Great location. 5 min. Walk to Termini, 15 to the Colosseum. Close walk to the good restaurants in Monti.

La struttura nel complesso pulita, sia la camera che il bagno; purtroppo datata e poco curata: pavimento rotto sia in camera che in bagno; alle pareti si vedono ancora i segni di una vecchia struttura. In ottima posizione, cinque minuti dalla stazione termini, dalla metro e dai riferimenti di Roma. Colazione buona, peccato che si dovesse fare all'hotel accanto.

Beliggenhed er central og seværdigheder indenfor gåafstand samt busforbindelser og metro. Hotel trænger til vedligeholdelse. Rengøring daglig er ok. Morgenmad er ok dog uden varm buffet. Personale venligt og imødekommende.

-Det lå ganske tæt på centrum - god morgenmad - hjælpsomt personale - gode faciliteter. Et minus : vi havde værelse ud til stærk trafikeret gade, hvilket man lige skulle vænne sig til.

Cercanía a todos los monumentos. Desayuno aceptable falta variedad. Antiguo pero súper limpio, servicio de habitación diario. Es ideal para conocer la ciudad y todo andando sin coger trasporte público. Y para ir al aeropuerto termini queda a 5 minutos. Lo recomiendo.

Bahnhofsnah , sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung! Leider ist das Mobiliar veraltet und die Wände kommt die Wand entgegen . Die Decken an der Wand im Bad schimmeln . Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit . Mein Highlight war die Putzfrau !! Ein großes Lob ! Sie machte jeden Tag sauber und ohne etwas zu sagen brachte sie uns zusätzliche Kissen zum schlafen, jeden Tag neue Seifen , Handtücher und machte das Bett . Der Fliesen Boden wird täglich mit Chlor gewischt .

Hotel was recently acquired by adjacent hotel; hotel Montreal is in serious need for update and maintenance. Room as tight; example one could not use the toilet due to its proximity to shower stall Management is aware of problems and will be working on finding solutions.

Worst Hotel ever

It was the worst place I have ever stayed. The bed was so uncomfortable and we would have left, but we couldn't get in anywhere else that looked decent. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were extremely rude and the so called breakfast was disgusting. Location was okay, but so are many other good hotels.

The property is ok. But on night of 16th of July , when we check in, the receptionist (not Italian in original) is very rude. He did not find my reservation from Expedia. He did not find my names throughout his list. He told lie to me that all the rooms in Hotel Montreal now is closed. I tried to contact Expedia, but he wanted to get us out, telling: you are not my guest, no reservation, if you want to stay here you have to pay 70 EUR for tonight. Finally, Expedia contacted him. The truth Expedia hire room through other agency. This is the problem of Expedia. Terrible, terrible. I had spent much money for calling long distance to Expedia and took almost 2 hours to check in in talking with this terrible staff at his hotel. On the day I check out he still required me of the voucher from other agency (Jambo). Never again there!! and bye to Expedia.

Posizione strategica

L'esperienza di soggiorno è stata più che positiva: gentilezza, discrezione e disponibilità. Lo raccomando anche per la posizione strategica in caso di viaggio in treno ed arrivo alla stazione Termini. Autobus e Metrò vicinissimi per ogni destinazione.

redelijk en rustig hotel in levendige wijk

Ik kreeg een nieuwe, afgelegen kamer net buiten het hotel. Geen ramen, wel een deur naar een rustige patio. Mooie kamer, vooral geschikt voor alleenreizigers. Let op: in- en uitchecken vindt plaats in het naast gelegen hotel d'Est. Het (goede) ontbijt is ook daar. De straten in de buurt zijn druk. Supermarkt en hoofdstation op loopafstand van 5-10 minuten. Colosseum op 20 min lopen.

A nice hotel near the train station.

Perfectly adequate for short stays in Rome. The staff is courteous and helpful. Very good complimentary breakfast. Close to the Metro and train station.
