Guter Service, Zimmer waren direkt bezugsfertig, toller Kontakt zum Manager Alessandro der uns einen Transfer vom Flughafen organisierte. Frühstück ausreichend: Frisches Croissant mit Marmelade, Butter, Joghurt, Saft und toller Cappuccino. Völlig ausreichend um in den Tag zu starten. Zimmer zum Hinterhof etwas ruhiger als zur Straßenseite. Um die Ecke befindet sich ein Supermarkt und die Metro Station. Zum Petersplatz sind es 10 min zu Fuß

Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen, was man den Zimmern deutlich ansieht. Sie sind abgewohnt, die Farbe blättert von den Möbeln ab, ein richtiger Schrank ist nicht vorhanden, nur eine Art Regal, vor das ein Vorhang gehängt wurde. Das Bad ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig, Kalkreste überall, Wasserflecken an allen Armaturen usw.. Alles in allem alles veraltet. Für den Preis ok. Das „Frühstück“ ist schlimm, vier verbrannte oder kaum getoastete ( dazwischen gab es nichts) Toast, zwischen denen ein wenig Käse geschmolzen war, 1Tasse Pulverkaffee, 1 Päckchen Zwieback und etwas Marmelade, 1 Glas Saft, sonst nichts! Nicht zum Essen, schade...Das in der Beschreibung versprochene Wasser bei der Anreise gab es nicht! Bei der Abreise saß ein Teenager telefonierend mit den Füßen auf der Rezeption da, nahm die Schlüssel entgegen und das war’s, keine Verabschiedung, nichts. Das war’s auch für uns, nie mehr wieder!

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. A due passi dai musei vaticani, in un palazzo con appartamento ristrutturato. Ampio il bagno e comoda e pulita la camera. Necessiterebbe di qualche mautenzione (frighetto funzionante al minimo, cassaforte guasta, disincostare un po' i rubinetti e lo spruzzo doccia) ma comunque mi son trovato benissimo.

Struttura in una zona centrale, molto comoda per trasporti, shopping etc. Personale gentile e disponibile, e stanza pulita e accogliente, anche se non nuovissima negli arredi. Molto gradevole la colazione in camera, all’ora concordata, composta da cappuccino, brioche, succo di frutta, fette biscottate e marmellata.

Short break in Rome
Handy for the Vatican, clean and tidy, helpful and stored bags for us which was a great help, when our flight back was not until 10 pm. Only gripe beds could be a bit bigger apart from that great.

Nice place
Great location for Vatican visit, 2 blocks from museums entrance. Could hear some sounds from floor above I believe. Comfortable and the staff member was nice.

Had lot of difficulty finding - it sounds like hotel but Is an apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. No staff in evening. Couldn’t get ventilation to work. Lot of peeling paint on one wall which made it look unkempt - not worth the price

Dear guest, the walls of the whole guest house, not an hotel as you wrote, were entirely painted the past August therefore your anonymous review sounds to be old even though recently written. We had a wonderful stay at Moncenigo Suites. The property was very similar to an Air B and B. The hotel is located in an apartment building on the second floor. It was literally 2 blocks from The Vatican Museum. The property manager was WONDERFUL and provided us with converters for our phones. My favorite part was the traditional Italian breakfast severed in our rooms the morning we left. The meat and cheese were so fresh and the bread was severed warm. So delicious! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Einfaches Hotel mit hetzlicher Betreuung
Anders wie bei einem „richtigem“ Hotel befinden sich die Mocenigo Vatican Suites in einem Wohnhaus. Es gibt insgesamt 5 Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, Basil hat extra auf uns gewartet, da wir relativ spät ankamen. Da es keinen seperaten Frühstücksraum gibt, wurde das einfache, aber reichliche Frühstück zur gewünschten Zeit ins Zimmer gebracht. Ungewöhnlich, aber toll! Auf Sauberkeit wurde viel Wert gelegt (Handtuchwechsel etc). Leider sind die Räume schon angewohnt, sonst gäbe es volle Punktzahl. Rom ist als Stadt insgesamt recht laut, aber die Fenster haben den Lärm von außerhalb gut abgehalten. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Spitzenklasse. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Wonderful stay
The front desk gentleman was very kind, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. Bed was firm. Very close to wonderful dining and the Vatican.

We stayed at the Mocenigo Suites for 4 nights in March, for the Italy vs Scotland rugby. The location was ideal -short walk to Vatican & restaurants & bars and a short-ish bus journey or Uber to the Stadio Olympico. I was pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room and it was great to have toiletries and hairdryer provided. Basil was simply exceptional. He made us feel very welcome and couldn't have been more helpful

Nähe zum Vatikan, etwas ungewöhnlich
Die Suites sind Zimmer in einem gewöhnlichen Wohnhaus in Rom, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Vatikan. Es handelt sich um eine Wohnung, die (legal!) umgebaut wurde zu den "Mocenigo Vatican Suites", einem kleinen Hotel. Der Servicemitarbeiter am kleinen Empfangstisch war sehr freundlich, äußerst hilfsbereit und sprach ausgezeichnet Englisch. Dieser Mitarbeiter bereitete auch das inkludierte Frühstück zu (wird ins Zimmer gebracht, weil es keinen Frühstücksraum gibt). Auch hier war alles prima, als Tipp würde ich die Aufbackbrötchen mit frischen Paninini vom Bäcker um die Ecke ersetzen. Gratis WLAN. Die Rezeption ist nicht ständig besetzt, jedoch per Mobilfunknummer ggf. rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Zimmer waren sehr sauber, insgesamt haben wir uns in den drei Tagen sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr nah am Vatikan und auch die nächste U-Bahn-Station ist nicht weit. Wer keine Lobby/Rezeption, Bar, Fitnessraum und sonstigen Schnickschnack braucht, sondern eine vernünftige Unterkunft, der ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren als Familie dort, geeignet ist es sicher auch für Paare und Geschäftsreisende.

From the outside, the place doesn't look like any kind of hotel, but once we were inside, we were surprised to see how clean and confortable the rooms were. Basil is a wonderful person with a lot of knowledge, especially when it comes to explain how to get anywhere in Rome. He had organized a private chauffeur for us at the airport, and breakfast was on time. This was a great experience, and the location was just perfect. Vatican 5 min walk, and many buses around the place.

Close to the Vatican Museum & Vatican City
Our stay was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and was constantly asking if they could help may our stay better, not only at the hotel, but getting around in as well. The breakfasts were served at the times requested and were very good. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Nice location and value for money
We stayed here for 4 nights and the hotel is very close to Vatican city (5 mins walking) and walking distance to Metro, Bus station and many restaurants around as well. Good location as you can access many of Rome attractions. Most of all the super service given by Basil from arranging air port pick up and drop off as well as providing valuable guidance and advices on places to visit is much appreciated. He made sure that our breakfast is delivered to room right on the requested time. Hotel is recommended to stay and once again thanks Basil for 5 star service provided.

Worth the Money
Wonderful, polite, helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Rooms recently updated--very clean. Comfortable beds. Fridges in rooms. Three blocks from the Vatican. This hotel is a great value. Of course, this is not a five-star facility, but for the type of reasonably priced hotel it is, the Mocenigo Vatican Suites deserves a top rating. Strongly recommended.

Il soggiorno è andato molto bene..Io mio marito ed il piccolo di tre anni siamo restati per una sola notte ma tutto è stato perfetto. Stanza piccola ma con tutto ciò che serve...A cinque minuti dalla fermata metro Cipro ed a un quarto d'ora a piedi da San Pietro. La gentilezza dello Staff è semplicemente fantastica. Ci hanno consentito di lasciare i bagagli per mezza giornata dopo il chek out! buona ed abbondante la colazione anche se servita esclusivamente in camera. Speriamo di tornarci!
