Dear Anonymous Guest we wish to thank you for your review. Hotel location is very central and in a historical building. As you have experienced Via Cavour is an uphill street and room 701 an 702 are located on the back of the hotel with windows facing the picturesque street of Via Urbana full of restaurants and shops in the heart of Rome. However understanding your notes and point of view we apologise and regret you did not inform us during your stay giving us the possibility to change your room. The wheelchair elevator next to the main entrance staircase can lift all luggages upon check in and check out. Our Porters are available to assist guests too. If you have a look to the map you can easily see that Termini Station, Metro station Cavour, Colosseum Roman Forum and many shopping ares are walkable and easy reachable. Certainly if you prefer a hotel next to the train station your choice must avoid archeological areas as Monti is because these are obviously protected. Always at your disposal Kindest regards.

Dear Mrs Charif,Thank you for these comments.You choose Monti Palace, a Four Star Hotels conveniently central located: you selected the room reserved looking at its pictures, details and price. Same everywhere in the web.A very good rate of Euro 300 was luckily available for you being April High Season in Rome.Upon arrival you disliked the room with the carpet and we immediately moved you to abother room despite we were sold out and it was afternoon. Aircondition switch depends on each City Municipality, so Florence is different than Rome of course.Kindly note we are still around 20-21 degree and,more than consciuosly, we can and we must save energy and respect the planet till summer comes and aircon will be on.Your refund request it is not accepted due to all avove reasons.Best regards

Consider Rome Municipality allow the activities to switch on aircon during April not before. From every room you can select the temperature- A nice grocery and goods market is located right on Via Madonna ai Monti, that lively street at the back of the hotel. Being your stay during the peak time of Marathon days our Team had to dedicate attention to everyone while occupancy was 96%, certainly the would have been glad having more time to talk to each guests however, as you have guessed, this was not possible.We remain at your disposalBest regards

Kindly note we are fully booked and complimentary late check out cannot be guaranteed in such cases. Consider that if the same room is assigned for other guests’ check in, they have the right to find their accommodation sanitized, free and clean at 2 pm.Housekeeping needs two hours for the full process from 12 to 2 pm. At the same way, in case the room is free for the day, it is obviously on sale for the fullprice however Late check out compromise this action, room will most probably remain empty and supplement must be quoted as per Company indications so that at least the room will be paid a minimum price if remains unsold. Team is compelled to ask for payment.Retaining does not mean customers can pretend free as they pleased. We remain at your disposal Best regards

Since the breakfast that we serve is completely free of charge and on the house, many customer tend to take large portions to the detriment of others who cannot then find enough food.
