Great place to stay, close to everything. Restaurants, subway and buses are all within a few minutes. Friendly staff and accommodations were always clean. I look forward to staying in the future.

Convenient and Clean
One block from the vatican, close to good restaurants like the La Locanda di Pietro which became our favorite restaurant and also within walking distance to other places to visit. Clean rooms but on the tighter side which is common by european standard. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is average. It's more than enough for me but I eat very light breakfast. And thanks goodness they have an elevator. They kept our bags until we were ready to leave for our flight late in the afternoon. Will definitely recommend.

Everything you need to stay in Rome
I stayed with my family for three nights and we had a very pleasant experience. The room was a very good size for 3 people, really quiet, with comfortable beds and a minibar with cold drinks at better prices than in the mini markets, basically, it had everything we needed to have a good rest after a strenuous day walking around Rome. The hotel is extremely close to Vatican City and there is a metro station a few streets away, the area is safe to walk around even at night, and there are many restaurants with authentic Italian food and honest prices nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they waited for our late arrival, recommended places to eat, stored our luggage for a couple of hours after the check-out, and called a taxi for us. Vatican Relais Rome was a great place to stay, I absolutely recommend it!

This place is lovted next to Vatican city nd walkinh distance from down town. The place is clean nd staff is friendly nd ccomodating. I just wish they had tea or coffee in the room.

We absolutely loved everything about the space. We were delayed for our trip due to flight issues and they were super accommodating to us arriving later than expected. The morning breakfast they offered was quaint and very nice. The location couldn’t have been better, being minutes from the Vatican tours entrance and right around the corner from St. Peter’s Basilica. Plenty of options for food and drink as well. We had a cute wraparound balcony as well.

Very well located, we were a bit scared once we got to the building but it surprised us. Rooms were super clean, renovated and comfortable. Best part, the AC worked which is hard to find in time. Totally recommended

The property is located within walking distance to the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. The owner and staff, ie Lilly are very helpful and informative. The property is very clean and well maintained.and great value for your money. There is an elevator which helps if you have heavy luggage. Highly recommend.

This property is a guest house in a Condo where 2 floors have rooms that belong to Vatican Relais Rome. It does not look like a hotel entrance but a Condo therefore you have to look at door buttons to access the Guest rooms. Rooms are super clean, small, and are serviced everyday. All rooms have a small balcony cute to bring breakfast and eat there. No coffee pot or access to hot water in rooms or a microwave. Breakfast is 7 euros additional fee per person, every morn from 7:30-10:00. Not much a variety but ok for the price. Most of the day there is no access to personal on the front desk but are friendly if and when you are lucky to find staff. Vince was the only one we were ever able to find and he was great and always helpful. Customer service is lacking. The plus, its 7 minutes to Vatican and taxi stop. Many restaurants close by too. Good for a couple but not a family and for a short stay. If you are accustomed to hotel environment, amenities, and hotel front desk service, this place is not for you. Overall a clean place to sleep at the end of the day.

Disappointed. Receptionist closed at 8pm and call for emergencies only after that. Bathroom not designed for women. Sink area small, sink bowl big not enough room for cosmetic bag or toiletries. The balcony decorated with plastic foliage 😢 very sad

エレベーターがわかるように階段を降りてきてくれました。朝の出発が早くて朝食はいらないと言ったら、今渡せるヨーグルトとかジュース何でも持って言ってと言ってくれました。全体的に一つ一つが誠意のある優しい対応をしてくれました。 また、立地も最高に便利で、バチカン市国へも早朝に行けますし、ホテルの周りも比較的お手頃で美味しいレストランが多かったです。

The hotel is situated on a side street about 10 minutes walk from the Vatican. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a no frills continental type but plentiful enough. Rooms were functional and had a balcony with a small table and chairs which was a bonus. Overall ideal for our needs

Our flight was coming in later in the evening. the property manager stayed in touch so that we won’t forfeit our room. This is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel-hotel. Very close to the Vatican like 3-4 blocks. Good restaurants to eat around. We were VERY pleased with the whole property and staff (Rency and Lily) Everyone was enormously helpful. They’re always cleaning the facilities and consistently available for any and all questions and requests. The hotel also offers a small breakfast with coffee, espresso etc and various breads for a small fee. Very close and accessible to everything. You are literally in the middle of Vatican City. Commuting to places is ideal as the public transportations are always on time and plentiful. Thank you for a great stay Vatican Relais Rome!

What was unique was it was the most expensive hotel room of our trip, but we were treated worse there than any other hotel. The room was not ready at the time that was advertised, so we had to wait elsewherw an hour although we were exhausted from trip. Hotel would not give us option for breakfast. Receptionist was unfriendly, unaccommodating & very controlling.

We also exchanged messages on the message box where in the check-in time is clearly indicated. You said you will arrive before 3:00pm but instead you came at 10:30am and demanding to have the room ready. We also informed you in our messages that all the rooms will be ready only after 2:00pm which is the standard check in time of most hotels here in Rome. Check out time is at 10:00am so you must consider the time we need for cleaning the room.Regarding the breakfast, your reservation does not include the breakfast. I hope you checked what is included in your reservation before complaining.Our staff is one of the strongest points of our hotel so i doubt your description to one of them.And lastly, about the price of the hotel, I want you to know that the agency where you booked in paid us at different price (lot cheaper) and not the same price you paid to them. The staff was awesome and super friendly. The owner, Luisa, couldn't have been more accommodating. She was ready to help me in anyway needed. A true find. I highly recommend this place if you want to be close to the Vatican. My only warning is it's a bit hard to find the first time there. The building is not marked with a name or address visible from the street. But once you're there, all is good. Thanks again.

This was a great location for the Vatican. So many places to eat nearby. Convenient to get to Hop on Hop off buses. Staff very helpful arranging shuttle to airport. Good continental breakfast. I would stay there again.

Fantastic hotel right next to the Vatican. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Parking is available in a garage right next to the hotel. The only thing that could be improved is all the single-use cups and glasses for breakfast and a larger breakfast selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel

O quarto é bem diferente do anunciado. O quarto era minusculo mas funcional. O Café da manha somente o básico. A localização é muito boa. Você abre a porta e se precisar de assistencia depois das 20.30 somente por telefone, pois não tem portaria.

Very pleasant stay! Superb location and friendly staff, we appreciated VIP upgrade with bottle of champagne as well as flexible check-in and check-out options. Breakfast was delivered to the room due to Covid, very basic selection but it gave us everything we actually needed. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

I will repeat. Excellent service and location
Excellent customer service. Good room distribution to have a double bed and single bed (small than a twin size) we have access to a balcony beyond words. The two front desk girls are the best, willing to help and give suggestions. Five minutes from the Vaticane, 3 minutes to the Bus station, close to restaurants and convenience stores. Hot water Breakfast included, delicious cappuccinono Definitely a very good option.

On a adoré la proximité du vatican, du chateau ste ann, proche du metro, des resto, C'est une résidence sympa très propre. Le seul bémol étant les petits-déjeuners à cause du covid c etait en chambre du coup des gateaux sous vide et pas de pain frais, pas le choix non plus, pas de fruits, rien que des biscottrs et des biscuits emballés. Vu le conditionnement il aurait dû baissee le prix des petits déjeuners car la 15€ pour ça c'était cher!

Great place to stay to go to the Vatican
We stayed here to visit the Vatican while in Rome. The hotel is about a ten minute walk to the Vatican entrance. The nearest Metro station is Ottaviano and it is about a ten minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and it seemed safe.

Struttura molto pulita e curata a due passi dal Vaticano. Staff gentile, professionale e puntuale. Ottima la stanza e il letto. Punto un po' dolente la colazione, ma forse dovuto alle norme anticovid.

prima locatie, alles keurig, idd op loopafstand van het Vaticaan, relatief rustige buurt met gezellige eettentjes om de hoek. openbaar vervoer ook dichtbij. Kamer was prima netjes en up to date, had Iers groter gemogen.

Die Lage ist absolut perfekt. So zentral und alles in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Hotel klein aber fein. Man muss wissen , Italienisches Frühstückst ist sehr spartanisch

Near Perfect
Cozy little guest house, offers decent enough breakfast. Extremely close to Vatican City and St P. Basilica. Very warm and welcoming staff. Rooms could be a bit more comfortable and the toilet and shower room is sort of small but still alright. Definitely could place a kettle in the room.
