โSophy is a beautiful hotel - our room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. My only criticism is that the restaurant closed at 9:30pm and the bar closed at 9:45pm which seemed very early on a Saturday night. โ
โCool property, very safe with cams and code-locked door. No issues with noise, had a pretty quiet peaceful stay. Good parking situation, thatโs something I was worried about but we never had problems parking. Unit is very close to transit lines. My girlfriend and I were out walking very late and never felt unsafe in this area. โ
โThe Villa Dubois is very clean. Instructions were provided throughout the home and everything was self explanatory. The house is very spacious and provides privacy and amenities throughout the space. I enjoyed good nights rest and was only 5 minutes away from my business/church function. I highly recommend Villa Dubois. I will be back and look forward to renting again. โ
โIf you are wanting a cheap motel for the night, this is it. Just keep in mind that itโs cheap for a reason. Upon arrival, we noticed a used needle/syringe on the ground. The sheets of the bed were stained so we had to ask for new ones. The shower leaked, there was no mini fridge/kitchenette, no lamps or additional lighting. Not a big deal for a one night stay but maybe for longer periods. The actual place was dirty beyond repair (the stairs, the railings, the storage rooms, the roof overhang)....
"It is safe and excellent in terms of shopping, transportation, and overall convenience; however, there are some inconveniences with the accommodation. The ventilation is poor after showering, and the internet is slow."
