"Bring clothes for morning yoga. That was the best surprise. The pool was used in morning for scuba lessons if you're interested. Very good teacher. There's a shared kitchen so you can make your own meals but don't miss out on local exotic cuisine!"

"This might be one of the worst hotels in Tulum. The rooms are old and have a musty smell to them with torn curtains on the windows and rusted sliding glass doors with keys that are difficult to open/close. There is no staff onsite before 10 am or after 6 pm, and accessing the property is difficult as you have to use a QR code to go through a turnstile and then through a door that leads you into a "alley" to get inside. There is no real lobby. The two restaurants onsite are grossly overpriced with a cup of coffee costing over $7 and cocktails between $20-24. The rooftop pool is small, unkempt and wasn't operational when I was there. You need to make a reservation to use the gym, and it doesn't have fans or AC. The service at the hotel is poor. There policy states that they change the bed linen every 3rd day and had to ask that they change mine after my 4th night, which they failed to do! I do not feel the property, service or amenities warrant the prices they are charging."

"Beautiful decor in the lobby area- however: Our room was smaller than a dorm room with a shotty Murphy bed as hard as a rock. The pool was ice cold with a view of unfinished abandon building. Breakfast and service was good. Hotel charges a “destination fee” which adds significantly to your room stay cost and it’s just pure profit and false advertising that it’s not disclosed when you book but just added on when you check in. Not a value and would never stay again. Location is ok."

"Water temperature was very difficult to control. We had a burnt out bulb in one of the few lights in the room. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. The staff and food were both great. Parking was great and convenient."

"Lovely local style hotel. Our beachfront room was perfect for listening to the ocean as we slept. The little bay would be perfect for swimming but the Sargassum was an ever present problem—arriving out of the normal season this year. The small plunge pool served as a nice alternative for cooling off. The hotel is located on a short stretch with lovely restaurants, a few small shops and a handy convenience store. The on site restaurant was tasty, and on beach service at guest-only cabanas and beach chairs was very convenient and friendly. "
