โThis motel was definitely giving Rose Motel vibes. ๐. It was a great place for our stay. We only stayed one night because of our itinerary, but would have liked to stay more. Front desk manager (Alex, I think?) was super helpful and she was super nice. The pool looked nice but we didnโt have enough time to use it. There was a trolley that you could utilize and we would have if we were going to be there longer. Beds were comfy and the rooms had window air units and kept the rooms cool. โ
โReally great place. Clean.
The only drawbacks were the gross disgusting smokers who stayed there.... Depositing their butts right on the ground.
Also, would suggest maybe limiting pool to only guests that are staying there, not inviting their whole extended family. Kids should also be supervised to use the pool โ
โThe 1802 House is a charming bed and breakfast in beautiful Kennebunkport. Juliana welcomed us and was a truly wonderful host. The inn is lovely and breakfast was top rate. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short! We would absolutely stay at The 1802 House again when in Kennebunkport amd would recommend a stay there to family and friends. โ
โWell run, beautiful property with fun & tasty amenities. Inn is walkable to town, restaurants & Colony beach. Would stay again & recommend for sure. โ
โWe had a wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly, rooms were spacious, quiet, and clean. Loved the chocolate chip cookies at 6pm. Short drive to Kennebunkport. Would highly recommend!โ
โBeautiful old house on quiet street within walking distance of Kennebunkport centre. The house is full of character and has welcoming hosts. The room (The Study) was downstairs and we were the only guests that night, so was very peaceful. Breakfast was cooked by Chris and was delicious.
Will definitely stay here again when we have the chance. โ
โI liked that at night the only way to get into the hotel was with a swipe card, nobody works at the front desk during those night hours so I felt safe. Parking was great and just walking in the area around to get to the restaurants and shopping was really easy.โ
