"If you believe that comfortable indoor climate control and air flow are basic hotel necessities, do not stay at this place. What a paradoxical experience. An amazingly efficient and friendly free shuttle service from (and to) the airport made a great first impression, as did the general condition of the newer, hermetically sealed and insulated hotel structure and the staff. We got to our room and the AC was not working. It was hot. No airflow. We went down to the reception because front desk refused to answer the phone. There were multiple guests complaining about the same thing. The explanation? Today was warm outside, but tomorrow it will be cold, so the hotel does not turn on the AC! In fact, they keep it off until sometime later in May of each year. Can you open a window? Absolutely not, this is an energy efficient (meaning you can roast to death) hotel, and we are told the airplanes flying over would then be too loud. Solution by a stressed out staff? Give everyone an electric floor fan to provide some relief. Unbelievable. Management here has no business being in the hospitality industry. It rained the next day, and under their approach, they'd probably turn off the showers since it was wet outside. I rarely give poor reviews, but this was a terrible choice despite all the things this hotel should have in its favor. Shame on the management of this establishment for their ridiculous penny pinching antics."
