Go early. All we saw was the parking lot. We spent a great amount of time circling around looking for an open spot. Every departing vehicle had at least three cars wanting the spot.

Comfortable room, great for the price, great location, nice to have breakfast and water/ tea! Friendly staff and a really cool old building. Would stay there again.

Do not go in the late afternoon. Zoo closed at 5 pm but lots of sites were close by 4 pm. Lots of area were under construction so call ahead to see what is available.

A lot of construction and closed exhibits / pathways in Feb 2019. Check to make sure enough exhibits are open before you go.
