We were given 2 pillows only and 2 towels only for a double occupancy - this should be doubled as a baseline. And I had requested extra pillows in advance. Overall very clean and very nice housekeeping staff who supplied us with the extras we needed.

As noted in other reviews of this Motel 6, I was quite satisfied with the room which had a queen size bed, a corner upholstered seating area with a desk and mirror. Plenty of electrical outlets made charging my cell phone, IPad, and accessories easy. The room had a shallow bath tub and shower. The pet-friendly policy at no extra charge is a nice bonus. The downside is the lack of toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner. Tissues are also omitted. The young man at the front counter who works nights was especially helpful. I was impressed with his knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The manager during the day is another story. She was helpful to me the second day and was heavy-handed about the checkout time and keeping my dog on a leash. She was rude, uncaring, and inflexible. Her registrant at the counter was competent but equally stoic and critical. There was a guest who had his dog off-leash which startled me when I encountered it upon returning to my room. I was upset at this man’s refusal to keep a leash on his older dog, yet I was watched closely by the personnel to ensure that my dog had its collar on and her leash. It seemed that the staff kept a keen eye out for me and was eager to jump in and give orders to me. I felt uncomfortable as each day went by. I am a quiet, single woman who keeps mostly to myself and yet the management made an issue with me at every turn. This was disappointing as I am a friendly person who enjoys conversations with other travelers.
