"The property is like being in a bit of an oasis. My daughter (22+ years old) loved their pool. The staff is super friendly. We had 2 days of no power in the evening, I provided some feedback and they immediately addressed it, providing an electric fan and also comped us for 2 nights. That was very nice of them. They don't have a lot of amenities on the property, 1 restaurant, coffee bar and no hard alcohol. That's okay as its pretty close to the town for other restaurants and bars, and they don't have a problem if you BYOB. They also have a pretty big dock, with scuba and snorkeling activities, daily. Don't expect to walk into the ocean from the beach, there is alot of sargassum everywhere but that's pretty standard in the area. They do a good job cleaning it up at the resort. There is a platform at the end of the dock you can swim off of and do some snorkeling. I saw a stingray my first day there and others told me there were some barracudas in the area too. There are some nice colorful fish around too. They also rent golf carts but we found it cheaper at places in town. The staff is wonderful and super helpful. It was off season when we went, so not that many people around."

"Staff was great and the location next to Ramon's where we diving couldn't have been better. Decor is a bit dated and tired, but was sufficient for our trip. The bathroom door stuck on the floor frequently which made it loud to close at times. We also had them facilitate a cart rental from Carts Belize which was of great help. Unfortunately the cart was terrible to drive with incredibly stiff steering and almost nonexistent headlights for night driving."

"I’m late writing this as we returned July 30th however our stay at the Royal Kahal was absolutely phenomenal! The customer service was superb from start to finish. Marla is so sweet and welcoming, and the coffee shop has not only amazing coffee but also the BEST turkey sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! 🥪☕️ Albert at the pool bar was incredibly kind and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations and served up some delicious cocktails.🍹 Our condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. I’m already in the process of planning my next trip back to San Pedro, and I can confidently say I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you all so much for making our stay so special. We truly enjoyed every minute! ❤️🌴"

"Everything was excellent. The owner Lisa was very helpful and kind. Mr Gordo was professional and helpful. The only thing I didn’t expect was the additional pet fee that isn’t mentioned here on Expedia. So if you’re traveling with pets, there is an additional fee of US$10 per night per dog."

"The staff are amazing and the pool is great. The room is simple and worn, but clean. The beds are a bit hard. There is no coffee maker, but there is free coffee in the lobby that was excellent! The beach is beautiful, but there was a sea grass problem which made it stinky."
