“Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

No toilet or shower, which are down the hall a few steps. Maybe the suites have those, I'm not sure. The room did have a sink, but the hot water faucet was not working. “Our Room was updated, a/c worked well, and it was pretty quiet. The entire place was sold out,.and we had no issues at all. Convenient parking, etc. Coffee is in the main office, and there are grab and go items for breakfast. We were happy with our stay, price, and staff. ”

“Older property. Door to the room had large gaps & thus we were concerned about bugs & insects coming in to the room. This also made soundproofing to the outside noise non-existent. The traffic on the busy road was quite loud all night. Front desk attendant was very pleasant. Room was clean. ”

The only thing that bugs me is we can never get a 1st floor room even though I always request one in advance. Would be okay if there was an elevator. We stay here twice a year for last 4 or 5 years ”
