"What a lovely place! I wish I had arrived earlier and stayed longer. I took off a star for the young woman who was alone in the front office in the morning (about 8am). I said "good morning" and got no response - and yet, the next woman to walk in got a very cheery "good morning". Not a big deal - and, if you are going to be in the hospitality industry it helps to be hospitable."

"Completely unplugged for 24 hours. The Wi-fi doesn’t work much. No cell service. This place is a breath of fresh air. Meticulously maintained grounds and facilities feel like a step back into yester-years. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi bath tub and fireplace. We loved the breath taking views from our room. The restaurant has excellent food. We were sad to come back to reality."

"From Check in to check out everything was perfect. Breakfast is outstanding and the staff makes your stay even better. Fresh coffee and cookies throughout the day yum! This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in this area hands down"

"Lovely hotel with wonderful, welcoming staff and very dog friendly. We arrived late, and it was such a nice surprise that the restaurant was still open. The bar had a lively atmosphere with great live music, too. Overall, a fantastic stay."
