“Historic building with lots of charm, fresh flowers in every room, breakfast was a amazing, staff was very accommodating and helpful with restaurant recommendations and help chartering a sailboat. Located right across the street from a venue with private beach front available for our use. A great, relaxing option for your fall-vibe trip to the Apostle Islands.”

“The property is left unlocked which is a little concerning in today’s environment and we were also told to leave key inside room, meaning we had to leave it unlocked, and unattended when we left. The room with 2 twin beds had 2 windows and neither window locked. Staff quarters also left unlocked so it’s an assumption there’s low crime in the area but leaves it open to potential assault or abuse. No staff on site and not well lit”

“The room was just about perfect for what we were looking for. Nice kitchenette, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and this was a very nice location for the walk on the path into town. Only 10 minutes and we were in the midst of the restaurants and also the boat tour and ferry to Madeline Island.”
