“The location is great. You can walk by the beach directly from the elevators. We asked for our room to be cleaned several times but they mixed up the request and finally nobody came. They put music all day and is quite loud. Other than that, the place is great if you want to go on a few beach days. There are also some restaurants at walking distance from the hotel.”

“The property was beautifully maintained. The check in/out was smooth. All staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very clean, and the cleaning folks were very good! Our balcony, beach front view was perfect for taking in sunsets! The beach was just across the street, and it was also staffed well. The restaurants were all great, as was the marina! We have zero complaints in our 7 day stay!”

“This property is a slice of Island Time perfection. Completely and beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The location is off the main road, quiet and laid back. It has a wonderful view of the bay, a lovely pool area, and a quick drive to the restaurants and shops of Matlacha. Without reservation I highly recommend Matlacha on Shoreview for your next island get-away.”
