"Room was clean except some dead bugs in one of the bathrooms. Sinks and showers didn’t drain well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. They were great and let us check in early. We arrived really early with 3 month old baby and it was too hot for her so thankfully they worked with us and let us in early."

"Enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. It’s right by the beach. Not too far from Destin. Management company was on point. There was a mixup with chair service but a quick call and it was corrected. Also the tennis net needed to be replaced and it was done really quick. Place was clean and room temp was good. Beds were comfy. Elevators wait time was not too bad but expected. We would stay there again. "

"If you are looking for affordable beachfront property with free WiFi, clean rooms, friendly staff, and breakfast included—this is perfect for that purpose. We had a good stay. Front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. The location is close to restaurants and the boardwalk not to mention the beach. The pool is well maintained. We used the pool one time. They had flotation devices for small children which was perfect for us. Breakfast had options for a variety of needs. The food service staff? Excellent. I can’t leave an outstanding review for my stay because: the charcoal grill is an amenity, it is dated and needs replaced. I was disappointed. It’s usable but in bad shape internally. Some of the needed tools are broken so grilling is a frustration. It’s not cleaned and maintained by the hotel staff so you have to clean it yourself (which we did). Also, our bathtub wasn’t draining well. I ask the front desk to send someone to fix it. She happily did this. Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day during our stay but they didn’t. We had to call for the items needed. Overall, we had a good stay. Those things didn’t hinder the fun time we had and certainly wouldn’t be a reason to check out and go elsewhere. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, breakfast included, and right on the beach. We enjoyed those things. One final thing, parking isn’t free here. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would stay again."

"Check in was a breeze, our room was ready at 4:10 pm. We stayed 4 nights, ate at all 3 restaurants and never had a need to leave the property. Our room, 534, had an amazing gulf view and was right by the elevator, so convenient. We worked out in their gym daily, had cocktails by the pool and rented the beach umbrellas and chairs. The staff was amazing especially the bartenders."

Enjoyed the private beach and the "less crowed" feel you have with other beach areas. Would like to see a little better variety on the Breakfast Buffet, it was really good, hot & fresh and nice to just walk through the courtyard to have breakfast and not leave the resort. Rooms were clean, comfy and relaxing. Pool area, Grotto and walk-up bars were awesome!!! We will return to The Island for vacation in Destin!!! Planning it now!!! Many thanks for the great time!!!"

"Our room wasn't ready upon arrival but the young lady at the desk called us when it was. The room was clean and functional but our ocean view was a bit obstructed by both our hotel and the one next door. Room 125 wasn't it for ocean view. There is direct Beach access and we didn't have a problem parking which was $10/day. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge. The breakfast was mid but at least there's was a turkey option. TREAT YOURSELF TO STEWBY'S it's down the street on the left."
