"Good breakfast, and the young man at the desk took a few minutes to show us the numbers we needed to dial to make a call while in Iceland from our American phones. I really thought the room was fine, but my husband felt a little crowded since it was such a small room. The young man working at the breakfast bar was all on his own because his coworker didn’t show up. He worked really hard and was quite helpful. I also appreciated that we were able to leave our luggage there at no charge in a locked room and come back to get it several hours later."

"The nicest people of all the places we stayed in Scotland- also the least expensive. The neighborhood is a little bit seedier than some others, so that is probably why it was cheaper, but it wasn’t bad and we felt perfectly safe. Was the only hotel that actually had two double beds and also they had washcloths! Apparently that is a novelty in Scotland. Staff were very helpful and I wish we had more than one night there because it was a much nicer experience than all of the other places we stayed."
