"I was expecting a beautiful dream vacation based on the marketing and reviews. I usually stay at a chain hotel, i thought I would give the Dana a try hoping for a new perspective. Wrong! It was not as nice as advertised from introduction of the process by the most unengaging receptionist not giving any reason to be excited. Offered an upgrade right off should have been a big hint of the room expectations Sad to say I have not found that place yet that is not a chain...back to the upscale they are really upscale or at least honest about the low rate experience"

"This hotel is awful. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights. I barely got through one. My room smelled like it had mold. The carpet was cold which made me think it was wet. I got a headache after being in there for a half hour. The stench in the room permeated everything. The sheets. The towels. So gross. I left the next morning. Checked out early. The manager didn’t even try to accommodate me by asking if I wanted to move rooms or offer any kind of help. Just said okay and verified what time I was leaving. Never again. "

"This place is in a shady neighborhood. Expect shady people wandering around the parking lot all day and night, smoking and talking very loud. I slept like garbage hoping these people would shut up. The room was pretty disappointing and worn out. I won't be staying here again."

"Dirty room, had bugs, had 2 full sized beds, was supposed to be 2 queens, moldy caulk at sink, shower had slow drain, an earwig was found in the shower, room was in a generally ratty condition and it looked nothing like the picture shown on the website."

"Pay attention to your booking. They tried to give us a basic room at check after we paid $300 more to upgrade to a premium room. Also check your bill at check out. The property was okay. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Food options were limited on the property. IMO it wasn’t worth the money we spent. "
