"Located in the heart of Chongqing away from tourists areas. People welcomed us warmly and we were kind of celebrities. I recommend this hotel as staff were very accommodating and although we toured other parts of China we kept this for full stay so we would not have to carry our big luggage around China and Hong Kong. "We had a wonderful stay at KaoYu Hotel. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked extremely well, which is essential during a Chongqing summer. The hotel also offers easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only minor maintenance issue was that the plastic stripping around the toilet door needs to be replaced, but this did not take away from our overall experience. We would happily stay here again on a return trip to Chongqing."
