"We had a wonderful stay at Oyado Kiyomizuya this fall! This ryoken offers an authentic onsen experience in the beautiful Noboribetsu onsen town. The staff were lovely and truly made this such a special place to stay. While other hotels may offer more modern facilities, Oyado Kiyomizuya provided a unique, authentic experience, from a peaceful private onsen, to spacious tatami mat rooms, to delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast and more. Thank you Oyado Kiyomizuya! We will definitely be back again."

The hotel provides bus service to snd from Sapporo Station with a fee, minimal charge. "What a lovely place! It’s basic but has everything you need - clean, fridge, a safe and kettle & green tea, The bed was so comfortable. On one of the floors, there’s two microwaves and a seating area. I used this and it was very clean. There is a small Onsen and laundry facilities (which I didn’t use). I did use the Onsen facilities in their sister hotel directly opposite - wonderful! Highly recommended."

"The onsen was the best I’ve ever been in. The outdoor “wood spas” with about 10 different minerals and essential oils was absolutely fantastic. My only gripe is that the half board meals are identical day to day. I only stayed 2 days, so I’m not sure how frequently the food items change. I will say the selection is giant. Because I’m used to places that change the food options daily.. I tried to eat through the whole buffet on the first day, trying little bits of everything. Had I realized it didn’t change, I would have just had larger portions of some items and tried other stuff the next day. "
