"I had a fantastic stay at the Tru by Hilton in Smithfield! The room was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and inviting from the moment I walked in. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming throughout my stay. They were always friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. The breakfast was a great bonus—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to start the day right. One thing I really appreciated was the air conditioning—it worked perfectly and kept the room cool and comfortable the entire time. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"You really need to improve your cleaning standards. It’s disappointing to see conditions allowed to decline to this level. The elevator doors were noticeably dirty, which suggests that key areas are being overlooked. As someone with cleaning experience, I find this well below acceptable standards. Addressing basic maintenance, such as repainting the doors, would make a significant difference."

"Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up and check me in. When I got to my room, it was blocked open and looked like someone had snuck in to take a shower because towels were used/missing. I was way to tired to deal with it, so I just let it slide. Ragged linens need to be replaced and hall carpet in serious need of vacuuming/shampooing. People loitering around entrance. Breakfast was decent."
