"Beautiful first class hotel with restaurants and bars and easy access to malls and many other restaurants and bars outside. The breakfast was very tasty and had such a variety of foods from all areas of the world. My only criticism would be the two chicken burgers delivered on the first night with room service. Delivery snd table set up was excellent but the chicken burgers were chewy, full of gristle, difficult to cut and not very tasty. However the following night we had chicken wings, Wagyu burger with fries and salad, same great table setup with delivery but food was amazing - hot and tasty. There is a steakhouse on the premises too but we were too tired to go after all our sightseeing. Bed was comfy, room had a large sofa, desk area, black out drapes and the most wonderful shower system. We had a high floor with views of marina bay and although we were there during the thick haze of smoke from the fires in Indonesia we were still able to see the Merlion, the flower dome, the lighted tree display, the sky wheel and the skypark from our window on the third morning. They were all within walking distance to anyone (without any walking difficulties). Our sightseeing took us about 6 miles each day. Chinatown requires a taxi though. All staff were helpful and professional- I would happily stay there again."

"Great location only a few mins from Clarke quay and Robertson quay . Clarke quay , china town and fort canning stations are all within a 10 min walk The hotel offers a free breakfast The pool area is roof top and has stunning views of Marina bay sands hotel . Bar area is open until midnight and drinks are reasonable in price for Singapore . We have stayed at the hotel several times now and it is really good and reasonably priced."

"Stayed 4 nights at Lyf Funan. Check in was friendly and the 2 gift bags was a wonderful suprise. More surprising was no tv in the room :). Buffet breakfast was adequate and I want to say that Soon Fa was a very friendly breakfast assistant. Always smiling and pleasant greetings. Unfortunately the front desk staff wasn’t as engaging. Upon leaving or returning to the hotel we was actually only acknowledged once by a nice girl who said have a good night. No other staff spoke even though they weren’t busy serving customers. I was just surprised by this as the whole selling of the LYF brand is to be engaging with others. Overall it was a pleasant stay, great location too."

Every aspect of the hotel and the staff were remarkable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore. I’m definitely planning to return next time I’m in the city. 🇸🇬"

"Nice clean inexpensive location in Singapore just a few minutes away from Raffles Place, Clarke Quay, and Chinatown, with multiple MRT stations for connecting to other parts of the city. Comfortable bed and high-powered air conditioning a blessing in the heat and humidity. On-site barista for the mornings or a cafe next door for something more substantial."

"Very small room. Cost effective hotel in good location 5 mins walk to MRT & 20 mins to city centre (telok Ayer station is between raffles place & Robinson road). No staff interactions as digital check in. Very loud Noise in my room from bathroom (5-02) every time neighbors used taps, toilet, shower. Room wasn’t cleaned during 2 night stay but maybe that is a hotel policy to keep cost down"
