What a dump!

We only booked because it was the last thing available - boy were we sorry! I would have paid a lot more somewhere else if I had known how bad this place really was. One wing was under renovation but the room we stayed in was in terrible shape. The linens were threadbare (washcloth shredded while I was using it), stains on bathroom ceiling, shabby furnishings, and a power strip stretched across the desk being used to plug in the microwave, refrigerator, TV, and coffee pot. Outlet in the bathroom popped when I unplugged the dryer and could not be reset, nor could we get it repaired after reporting it. I was forced to unplug the microwave so I could stretch my hair dryer to the nearest mirror. At one point I went up to the desk and stood there waiting while the clerk was out smoking. She came back in and picked up the phone to talk to someone she had accidentally left on hold while she stepped out. The other clerk, who apparently lives onsite with her toddler, was complaining to my husband about how much she hates it there. What a nightmare!

Dirty Run Down...never again. "Shuttle Service" was a smelly man in a Mini Van.

Hotel very old dirty noisy smells. Toilet overflowed with first use. Requested new room and staff very irritated with this. New room makeup and hair on sheets. Noise above all night. Horrible!!

Unwelcomed

First impression says a lot. The front desk didn’t appear to be happy with my arrival. Didn’t feel welcomed at all and almost walked out but it was after 4pm so I didn’t want to lose reservation.

Yuck

There were ashes all over the desk... I don’t smoke so we know it wasn’t cleaned. The bathtub dripped all night and the toilet runs all the time. Bed was actually clean and comfortable so I didn’t leave in the bad weather.

Hotel was okay. Room was dated, but clean. The towels, though, were gross. I'm sure they were clean, but all stained and I wasn't real comfortable drying my face with it!

Very nice folks. She knew me by name when I walked in the door. I was welcomed and checked in. I was put very close to an entrance door which was great due to traveling alone with a pet and having several things to carry. I was very pleased with my say.

Price is spot on for the location

Okay for the price. It was clean. Was there for a concert and all the rooms around us were partying and loud. Someone tried to break it up at one time, but they just continued. Wouldn't have worked well if you weren't a heavy sleeper.

Turn around and run!!!

I don’t mind a cheap hotel, nor getting what you pay for, but this hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt...calling it a roach motel would be an insult to RAID!

Expedia just plain sucks. Take my name off your email. I had booked through you last Friday to a super 8 in Sioux Falls sd. To a super 8 we always go to. The picture was on the booking. Got there and reservation went to the airport one we went there and the conditions. We're so deplorable we couldn't stay. You at Expedia would not transfer to the super 8 we wanted. The airport one was so run down. Obviously using rooms for apartments as there were blankets hanging in windows and shades broken. There was no continental breakfast area as described in booking but staff lied to us about that also. Staff appeared in sweat outfit and slippers Wow an awful experience. Take my name off you email list NOW. You are not reputable and I am telling all my friends and family how we were treated

Economical

I chose the hotel on price and because it was across the road from my conference location. These aspects were fine. When I went to check in - admittedly a little early, i.e. lunch-time, they could not accommodate me since they had been very busy the night before, yet the huge parking lot was almost empty. The first night my room was not cleaned and when I reported this to reception the staff member did not seem to understand. The continental breakfast was uninspired but I've been to Super 8s before and it sufficed. So, overall, I got what I paid for.

Disgusting

We had a non-smoking room but the entire building smells like an ashtray. I washed my hands once in our sink and it was so completely clogged it was backing up through the pipes under the sink. No bed bugs, but we sure checked. Just gross....wouldn’t stay here again.

what do you expect from online Super 8

just over all poor hotel , staff, and layout, everything. Staff did not seem educated in hotel work, unprofessional in all I saw, But, it was cheap as I was on the road and wanted cheap, so you get what you pay for. Location sucks if you're looking for easy on and off from the highway

Overpriced for what you get

Our bathroom sink drained very slowly. The bathtub finish was peeling, so old it needs replacing. The wifi barely worked, some pages wouldn't load & I couldn't send an email. Didn't even bother with breakfast. For a room that cost $95, and with taxes & fees was about $114, it wasn't worth it.

This place SUCKS DOG FOOD! (dog food included)

I booked a room via Hotels.com. When I got to the hotel...they ONLY had a SMOKING room...I SPECIFICALLY BOOKED A NON-SMOKING ROOM!!! I had no idea how to get a refund on the spot via Hotels.com...so...we slept with the windows open and the AC on full blast. Ohh...and the windows...had a big torn screen...bugs just fly in and out any time they want. Also...the desk flunkie insisted that I hadn't paid...uhhhh...I paid IN FULL via Hotels.com...and my email confirmation proved it. Dog food...did I mention that there was dog food on the floor by the bed? Yes, yes there was DOG FOOD on the roo. floor. Hot water in the shower/tub...Uhhhhhh...NOPE...warm-ish only. Does the tub/shower drain work...uhhhh...it did drain empty after 5+ minutes. How was the area/property, you ask? Trashy, slummy, G.R.O.S.S. "Free" breakfast? Bllahahahahahhahaa...I usually try to avoid food poisoning... we're not evening going there. What see can I tell you? ...ummmm.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SLUM DUMP!! It would make a good filming location for a reality show about hotel dives!

Not what I expected from this property

Reserved a non-smoking room and messaged the property through Expedia to advised them that I would need a non-smoking room and that I was traveling with my dog. Get to the property and the room that was given to me was a smoking room. Went to the front desk and the night auditor was nice enough to get us into a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor for the night. I know the property owners and I have stayed at their other property back about a month ago and was really happy with the other property. This one needs some work.
