"We stayed at Farmhouse Lodge’s Chicken house for 2 days before Christmas and absolutely loved it. The Chicken house has everything- fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom. The location is wonderful since you can go and see several waterfalls and black sands beaches near by. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to explore that area of Iceland."

"This property was incredible and I wish we had booked more than one night here on our trip. We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience. The weather was wicked windy and Anna told us that we could stay until the break in the weather so we wouldn’t have to be out driving in unsafe conditions. 10/10 recommend and if/when I come back to Iceland, I WILL be staying here and for at least two nights!"

"Perfect stay, beautiful environment, washroom and common area very clean and efficient. Only thing I messaged them the day before the stay because they didn’t send the code for my pod I booked, but they did respond the day off the stay which was a little nerve racking seeing all the reviews about this. "The property is beautiful and extremely clean. The room we were in had a double bed and a king size bed. They were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was much better than we expected! They had eggs and bacon and many types of pastries and cereal! Excellent stay in a quiet and convenient place. Close to Vik but far enough away to get quiet. A great place to see Northern Lights - but it was too cloudy for us to see any."
